90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Mike Youngquist has revealed what happened to his friend Matt Petersen who, with his wife Svetlana, was the reason he met Natalie Mordovtseva. Although Natalie complained she was lonely in the woods of Sequim, she did have a friend Svetlana, from Ukraine, who was married to Mike’s friend in America. Interestingly, while most 90 Day Fiancé couples meet online or on dating apps, Mike and Natalie started dating after they were both named godparents to Matt and Svetlana’s baby daughter Pollyanna.
Svetlana had also shown Mike pictures of the former actress riding horses and modeling. Mike thought Natalie was a catch and worried if she’d ever fall for him. However, he texted her a “hey” and soon flew to Kyiv to meet her. Mike later proposed to Natalie in front of the Eiffel Tower, though, sadly, the two are no longer together.
Matt and Svetlana have been strangely absent from Mike and Natalie’s 90 Day Fiancé storyline for some time. Fans often wondered if things may have turned out differently if the couple had tried to fix Mike and Natalie’s failing relationship. While Mike did not mention why the Petersen couple chose to stay away from TLC, he did recently promote Matt’s new pizza business on IG. Mike posed with his mother Trish Youngquist and Matt at the Malvagios restaurant which is undergoing remodeling in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. “Stopped by to say hi for a surprise visit to my buddy Matt and his family,” a very cheerful-looking Mike wrote in his caption.
“They are working on opening their new pizza business in Coeur d’Alene,” he added. Mike also asked his 90 Day Fiancé fans to make sure they stop by and try some of the wonderful food at Matt’s pizzeria. Mike added the hashtags #friends, #family, and #pizzalovert.” In the comments, Matt replied from the @malvagiospizza page with, “We were happy to see you guys! Pollyanna keeps asking about you now every day.” Mike posted a comment saying he will be coming back soon to visit as he misses Pollyanna too. Meanwhile, Mike’s followers were pleased to see him happy and smiling. Some said he was “looking good,” and a few also complimented Trish for being “the sweetest lady ever.”
Trish also seems to have found a new 90 Day Fiancé friend in Debbie Johnson, who posted, "Tell your mom hi and give her a hug.” Another interesting response came via Mike’s alleged girlfriend Marcia, as she said, “I'm so happy she's there with you.” With Natalie out of his life, Mike seems to be making the most of life. This involves him reconnecting with his best friend and living his own version of 90 Day: The Single Life. While Matt and Svetlana going MIA from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? may remain a mystery, Mike’s supporters sure are delighted to see their favorite star having a good time without Natalie.
