So far into season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva have shown no signs of being made for each other. With literally nothing in common between them and Natalie declaring she didn’t love him in season 7 by tossing her ring, Mike threw in the towel during the last episode. But while Mike seemed to not like therapy in the first place, he also showed no respect for Natalie’s couples therapy idea by wearing a Bluetooth earpiece to the session. And expectedly so, 90 Day Fiancé star Mike is being bashed in the meanest of ways by fans online.
When Natalie first broached the topic of seeing a counselor, her 90 Day Fiancé partner Mike complained about “throwing a bunch of money” just to have a “simple conversation.” But Mike, who also blamed their fights on communication issues, shared his secrets with his hairstylist Jane. Still, after finally saying “yes to therapy,” Michael displayed his best expressionless face as he sat on the therapist’s couch while wearing a Bluetooth earpiece. The Sequim, Washington, native dismissed Natalie’s problems of adjusting to America, and revealed that he was “struggling internally” and was “unhappy.” In spite of Natalie thanking him for putting in huge efforts to get her a K-1 visa, Mike bluntly asked her why she came there, and added, “are we still in love?” Furthermore, Mike spoke to the 90 Day Fiancé producers about not seeing his Ukrainian lover in his ideal world. But amidst Mike’s disdainful attitude, what irked 90 Day Fiancé fans tenfold was his Bluetooth headset.
A thread on a 90 Day Fiancé community on Reddit carried a picture of Mike from the pitiful scene captioned, “Nothing says emotionally available like wearing a Bluetooth earpiece during couples counseling.” The post carries a top comment that says, “I wish they would both get everything out on the table already,” while mentioning that it seems like neither Mike nor Natalie are willing to show vulnerability and admit they’re hurting. “It’s hard to heal without acknowledging what the problem was/is,” continues the TLC viewer and the comment following it agrees as it adds that both of the 90 Day Fiancé stars are acting out, “Natalie with her nasty comments and Mike with his non-committal passive-aggressive attitude.”

Some TLC viewers are also predicting that Mike and Natalie’s relationship is over. This thought also stems from the fact that was established in season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé about Mike and Natalie having “nothing in common.” They are different in their values, cultures and lifestyle choices, including food and spirituality (Mike's believes in alien life). “Sometimes opposites attract but neither is compromising,” claims one fan saying that if it’s this hard “early on,” 90 Day Fiancé’s Mike and Natalie should just “walk away.”
But a clipping from a local Sequim newspaper posted on Reddit does show that “Michael Allen Youngquist Jr” and "Nataliia Podiakova” got married around March in 2020. However, the question remains: Is the 90 Day Fiancé couple still together despite a wedding? After all, without any proof of Mike and Natalie having had their rumored baby, or being sighted together like Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren, it’s difficult to declare them as a 90 Day Fiancé success story.
