90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers originally sided completely with Mike Berk, but they are now starting to understand Ximena Morales Cuellar's doubts when it comes to Mike's unhygienic behavior. Perpetually single American Mike arrived in Colombia with plans to sweep Ximena off her feet, propose to the mother of two, and become a stepfather to Ximena's sons. While he received the blessing to propose from Ximena's reluctant father, Ximena has expressed doubts about marrying Mike. Since Mike comes across as sweet, supportive, and generous, many 90 Day Fiancé franchise viewers have lauded him as the ultimate catch. However, Mike's unhygienic behavior grosses Ximena out and causes her to question her feelings.
Mike was filmed farting on his partner while they were making out, while he was also scolded for burping openly and leaving his clothes around the house. Most recently, Mike blew his nose in a tissue and put it in the backseat pocket of the cab he was in. Ximena called Mike out for his actions and questioned his maturity and ability to take care of himself and help run a household. Ximena's concerns over Mike's gross behavior are being justified by viewers given his lack of hygiene on the recent episode of Before the 90 Days.

Many viewers were disgusted by Mike's lack of hygiene, and they were especially shocked that someone his age has such poor manners. "That part was so disgusting and disrespectful," one top user wrote about Mike's tissue mishap. Others were unhappy that Mike tried to brush off his lack of cleanliness, especially since he blamed it on having ADHD. "He’s one of those people who always has an excuse and blames everyone and everything for his sh**** life and behavior," one commenter theorized about Mike.
While some viewers continue to downplay Ximena's concerns about marrying Mike, many can see where she is coming from when she worries about him being too childlike and immature. "The way he said 'no basura!', aka there's no trash can/bag, made me laugh. He legit sounded like a little kid," one commenter wrote about Mike's excuse for not throwing out his tissue. "I'm on Ximena's side with this. That was so disgusting! Imagine the driver having to clean the car and find this nasty snot rag in the pocket," another user wrote. Though Ximena has had failed relationships due to serious transgressions, viewers understand that being turned off by someone due to their hygiene is a vaild reason to end a relationship or be hesitant about commitment.
Mike's recent gross behavior has caused viewers to finally see things from Ximena's perspective. Many called out the single mother for using Mike after she proudly boasted about all of the furniture and household appliances he purchased for her and her sons. However, viewers believe Ximena has every right to express her needs and request hygiene from her partner.
