Former 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars Hamza Moknii and Memphis Smith are in a custody battle over their infant daughter, and it seems things may take more time to resolve. The couple was last featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, which showcased their imperfect relationship. But Hamza and Memphis somehow made things work and married at the end of their season. The couple announced they were expecting a baby just a few days after the wedding. Shockingly, things changed within the next few months as the couple reunited in the United States.
Memphis recently threw shade at Hamza on Instagram, and this is far from the first time she's done it. Earlier in March, Memphis started dropping hints about splitting from Hamza and not being happy with him. Soon, the duo stopped following each other on Instagram and didn’t give an explanation to 90 Day Fiancé viewers. At the time, Memphis kept making sly remarks against her estranged husband while Hamza posted romantic photos with her. Later, Hamza’s sister, Rawia, claimed that Memphis had ignored the judge’s ruling by not letting her brother see his daughter.
Hamza Moknii Shared A Positive Child Custody Update
There’s no doubt that Memphis and Hamza aren’t together anymore, but 90 Day Fiancé fans still do not know what happened between them. Besides, the former TLC pair has been acting strange on social media since splitting from each other. Earlier in September, Hamza posted an update on Instagram, writing, “I am happy today, very soon I will see my daughter. She is the light of my heart.” In the Instagram post, he hinted that the American law system had helped him by providing him a chance to see his daughter with Memphis. He added, “America has a lot of love.”
Hamza Moknii Was Granted Monitored Visits
Interest in Memphis and Hamza's baby drama continued, and a few days after Hamza's heartfelt Instagram post, an insider told InTouch that Hamza’s attorney helped him secure “an immediate court order,” which granted him “monitored visits” with his baby daughter. The source close to the Tunisian reality star also shared that he has not yet visited or met his child, adding, “As of today, and per Mr. Moknii’s post, it’s clear he has yet to exercise his visits with the minor.”
Hamza Moknii Has Still Not Met His Daughter
After rumors swirled that Memphis allegedly lost custody of her kids, she took to Instagram to clarify and deny the claims. “I have NOT lost custody of anyone!” she wrote, expressing frustration towards internet gossip and lies. Earlier in October, 90 Day Fiancé's Hamza shared a sad post stating that he really wanted to meet his daughter on her birthday, adding, “I hope to see my daughter soon. Every day is a day I am missing with her.” Around October 5, Hamza and Memphis shared birthday stories dedicated to their 1-year-old, but nobody confirmed if the father actually met his daughter. A few days ago, Hamza posted a solo video of himself with a cake, suggesting that he probably spent his and his daughter’s birthday alone. 90 Day Fiancé viewers wish the couple would soon work out their child custody agreement.
