90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Memphis Smith took to Instagram to reveal if Hamza Moknii is the father of her baby. Memphis, a 34-year-old single mother from Michigan made her way to Tunisia to get married to local man Hamza, 26. While Hamza lied about how old he was, Memphis kept her close relationship with her ex-husband Justin a secret from him. Dismissing the trust issues and hesitation, Hamza and Memphis decided they wanted to get married, which they did in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days episode 15. 90 Day Fiancé fans expected to hear wedding bells but didn’t expect to see Memphis become pregnant so quickly on her three-week trip.
The March 27 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was a special one for Hamza’s family, including sister Rawia and mom Hayet who welcomed Memphis as a daughter-in-law following a Tunisian wedding ceremony. The couple soon left on a honeymoon which is when Memphis found out she was pregnant and Hamza asked, “What? You? You playing with me?” It’s the same question that fans also asked Memphis when she posted a photo of a baby on Instagram before her pregnancy was confirmed on TV. Fans who’d read spoilers deduced it was Memphis and Hamza’s baby and she didn’t deny it until much later when Memphis said it was a throwback photo of her second child, a seven-year-old boy.
It seems an Instagram fan page located certain comments on the now-deleted photo of Memphis' baby and shared them with the caption, “Memphis confirming that the baby is not Hamza’s.” The said post too has now been deleted but Memphis happened to take screenshots of the post and a comment she left on it where she called them out for lying and confirmed Hamza is indeed her baby’s biological dad. “Please do not believe this page! I DIDN’T confirm I was pregnant by anyone else! STOP THESE LIES,” Memphis wrote in her own Instagram story after sharing a screenshot of the fan page's post.
Memphis showed her Instagram followers what she had posted in the post’s comments. “Why can’t you guys read? Every single day people are taking things the wrong way! Why in the heck would I be pregnant by someone else?” Memphis had written. She asked them why they would have assumed the “worst thing.” In fact, Memphis also confirmed she was in Tunisia for longer than three weeks by commenting, “why can’t it just be I was there longer?” She accused the fan page of believing in “ANYTHING but the truth” and declared she’s “seriously tired” of people spreading lies. On top of her screenshot, Memphis said that she doesn’t condone lying and doesn’t “take c**p” from anyone any longer.
When Memphis first shared the picture of her older son, it went viral amongst 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days viewers as they congratulated her and Hamza. But Hamza posted a cryptic comment, “Like my son not my son.” Because fans thought this was Memphis’ baby #3, they assumed it was Hamza claiming he’s not fathered the child. However, Hamza was simply trying to say that the baby was Memphis’s second-born to who he is now a stepfather. Memphis and Hamza’s storyline which is happy on-screen with the good news has taken a dark and ugly turn in real life with rumors of their split. While theories suggest Hamza and Memphis broke up, the truth remains that they did have a lovely baby together which fans will perhaps get to see soon on TV.
