Charlie and Megan ended 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? on tense terms with the Potthast family after Charlie instigated a physical brawl with Andrei. Megan has opened up about the subsequent familial estrangement before she joined her estranged sisters-in-law on Bares All. Libby, Jenn and Becky shocked viewers by harshly judging Megan for selling photos of herself online since all three sisters have revealed risqué content of their own on OnlyFans as well. Meanwhile, Andrei came for Megan by calling her “a porn star,” among other heated insults. Though the entire Potthast family has been called out by franchise fans, many thought the attack on Megan was highly unwarranted.
While fans are branding the Potthast sisters hypocritical, Megan entirely agrees with the criticism directed towards Andrei, Libby, Jenn and Becky. “They’re 💯 hypocrites and the fact they were looking at me in disgust is laughable to me. I’ve been around them for over 20 years. They are not saints. I found out about OF from them,” Megan wrote in an exclusive statement to Screen Rant. She added that her in-laws were trying to cancel her, Charlie and their family to feel better about themselves. “They’re taking orders from that man that acts like a woman that likes to gossip. It’s gross. They feel they can say anything they want about us yet get mad when we respond or defend ourselves,” she added.
Megan also provided some insight into what the Potthast family was really like behind the scene. “Everyone got along after Moldova and for almost a year after everything was fine and we actually even spent Halloween together then a month later they go crazy on us in Maryland (exclude our kids from the reunion) and they decide to never speak to us again,” she wrote. Many viewers have questioned if the Potthast sisters scripted their Happily Ever After drama in a bid to get more attention from audiences and possibly secure their own spin-off show. Fans have noticed how the sisters always fight on TV but appear friendly on social media. “Sad individuals and horrible excuse for family. Not to mention my best friend of 24 years. That friendship was clearly a joke,” Megan added about the Potthast siblings.
