Geoffrey Paschel has defended his fling with Mary by calling it more of a "rekindling" than a rebound. Fans are curious why he did not see a future with his close friend before he went on his adventure to Russia, possibly making their new courtship a relationship out of convenience. Fans are also wondering why Mary has yet to run for the hills after all the crap he has put her through.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans have now gotten their answer as to why Mary did not seem frightened of the idea of dating an ex-con because she herself has been to jail. Starcasm reported that Mary Wallace was arrested in 2013 on a Domestic Violence with Aggravated Assault charge. The arrest occurred after an altercation with her then-boyfriend. According to the arrest report obtained by the outlet, the date of the assault was March 21, 2013, as the call came in around 4am. Mary’s then-boyfriend explained to the police that the two had begun arguing and Mary threw a glass at him which hit him in the shoulder. According to the call, the boyfriend ran for cover into their bedroom as Mary threw yet another drinking glass. The fight then escalated according to the male victim, as his nose, arm, and chest were bitten. Mary was taken into custody and transported to the jail with her bail set at $1,000.
It seems that these two were an explosive match made in heaven. However, many fans don't think Geoffrey Paschel is capable of loving another person due to his narcissistic tendencies.Paschel uses triangulation to pit the women against each other as he sits back and enjoys the show. Paschel has strung Mary along for years just keeping her as a safety net while he went off to persue Varya. Then as soon as Varya came and visited him in Knoxville, TN, he dropped Mary and picked off where he left it with Varya.
Paschel’s whole storyline is a bit mucked up due to him not immediatly divulging his background to the network or to Varya. It does not surprise fans that one of his close friends from home would also have a criminal background. Mary has also been accused of money wiring fraud as recently as last year. It is no wonder TLC has now banned Pashcel and his group from airing on the tell-all. Now audiences are wondering how Varya got out of the exchange unscathed after angering these two people with violent pasts.
