Following 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown’s reported engagement, his onscreen girlfriend, Liz Woods, hinted at being pregnant on Instagram. Best known for his relationship drama with Filipina Rose Vega on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, the notorious Big Ed returned to TLC to find new love, which he did in restaurant manager Liz on 90 Day: The Single Life. The couple gave fans plenty of cringe moments but also shocked them when they broke up and a phone recording went viral. Despite it all, single mom Liz appears to have gotten engaged to Big Ed and has now posted about welcoming a baby on Instagram.
Big Ed’s reputation in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has been on a decline since he made offensive remarks about Rose, and his behavior towards Liz was no different. But photos of the couple surfacing on the Internet, in which Big Ed flaunted a new hairstyle and Liz showed off a massive rock on her left hand, left fans enraged. Big Ed and Liz’s reconciliation was the last thing TLC viewers expected, but he was also apparently calling her his “beautiful fiancée” and confirmed with people that they were getting married. Incidentally, a man claiming to be Liz’s ex-husband made comments about Big Ed and Liz getting engaged for fame.
Hot on the heels of the allegations by Liz’s supposed second husband, she took to Instagram to post a Story that further complicated matters. While Liz has been staying away from posting on her Instagram feed, she has been sharing Stories with her 7-year-old daughter, Ryleigh Leanne. In her latest Story featuring her mini-me, Liz captured Ryleigh doing a DIY project using some cloth and a pair of scissors. “Blanket for baby brother,” Liz wrote in her caption. Big Ed’s ladylove also cryptically added, “Our family is growing,” followed by a heart emoji.
It looked like Liz’s little one was busy making a comfy blanket for a possible new sibling. However, what could not have been missed was the paw print emoji that Liz had slyly added to the text. Later, in a statement to InTouch, Liz confirmed that she was welcoming a four-legged baby instead. “We are welcoming 4 paws coming,” Liz said. "[My daughter] has been asking for a sibling," 90 Day Fiancé cast member Liz admitted. However, according to Liz, “I told her we could get a dog instead.”
It should be noted that Big Ed revealed in August that his dog, Teddy, who was also featured on 90 Day Fiancé, passed away. Teddy had been Big Ed’s best friend, and while TLC viewers may have criticized the San Diego native, they appreciated how he took care of the pet. The dog had benign cysts on the top of his head and neck, so he had to undergo surgery. But just a month after the procedure, Big Ed was devastated as his dog passed away. With Liz now adopting a new dog, it could be said that her future husband, Big Ed, will also find happiness in the company of a new furry friend.
