90 Day Fiancé star Elizabeth "Libby" Potthast has recently taken to Instagram to congratulate her sister Becky Potthast on her second pregnancy, following their on-screen drama shown on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Libby first appeared with her husband Andrei Castravet on 90 Day Fiancé season 5, when Andrei moved to Tampa to marry Libby. The couple later returned for several seasons of Happily Ever After?, and it became evident to fans that Andrei and Libby's family did not get along. Becky has played a key role in the drama, and even lunged at Andrei in a recent episode of Happily Ever After? season 7.
Despite their feud on Happily Ever After?, Libby was quick to congratulate sister Becky on her pregnancy on a recent Instagram story. Libby reposted a post of Becky's, where she announced that she and her husband were expecting a baby girl in May, under a picture of Becky's small baby bump. Libby expressed her excitement for Becky and wrote, "So excited for @beckylictwerch in case you missed it. Can't wait to meet her!" Libby also emphasized that her daughter Ellie would be so excited to have a female cousin, and also wrote that Becky's son Mads will be a wonderful big brother.
90 Day Fiancé's Libby & Becky Have Had Issues For Years
Happily Ever After? season 7 is not the first time when Libby and Becky have had issues, as they have had disagreements about Andrei since his arrival in the United States. Libby and Becky's siblings Jenn Potthast and Charlie Potthast have also made it clear that they do not like Andrei, and the majority of the family often gangs up on him, which as a result angers Libby. Tensions have increased over the years, however, as Becky never got physically aggressive with Andrei until the current season.
Many fans have suspected over the years that much of the Potthast family drama could possibly be scripted, and some even believed that the family was trying to secure their own spin-off. The Potthast siblings are also known as some of the biggest villains in the franchise, and 90 Day Fiancé fans are tired of seeing them on the show. Becky in particular has a history of being problematic, as she previously initiated a physical fight with Libby on a family boat ride. Becky has also gotten into heated arguments with Andrei in the past, including a screaming match she started with him on a family road trip.
While 90 Day Fiancé fans have had their issues with Libby and Andrei, they much prefer them to Libby's problematic family. However, Libby and Becky are still sisters at the end of the day, and it is nice to see Libby support her sister's pregnancy even amid television drama. It is also important that the Potthast family members keep their children out of their personal issues, so that the cousins to get along and are not involved in the drama. Though some fans may be confused as to why Libby is supporting Becky on Instagram, it is a reminder that their dramatic encounters on the show do not define their lives outside of it.
