Libby and Andrei Castravet have had a bumpy ride on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, and viewers aren’t quick to forgive the couple after they shared a celebratory shot. Though the duo celebrated a happy Fourth of July with their young daughter, they remain one of the most disliked 90 Day Fiancé franchise couples. With plenty of cast members being canceled by fans, Libby and Andrei appear to be the latest couple that viewers want to see removed from the franchise.
Season 6 of Happily Ever After took a hiatus on Sunday night, which meant there was an unusual pause in Potthast family drama. Andrei has spent the duration of season 6 tangled in a fight with Libby’s siblings. While Andrei is angling for a piece of father Chuck Potthast’s house flipping business, Libby’s siblings are enraged that Andrei is seemingly trying to take their father’s money that they feel entitled to. The ongoing drama culminated in a fight between Andrei and Libby’s sister Becky during a disastrous family RV trip. While Andrei’s relationship with his in-laws shows no sign of improvement, things are rumored to get even worse. Andrei hinted that new episodes will see him exposing his in-laws, who all have criminal histories.
Libby took to her Instagram to share a sweet Boomerang of her, Andrei, and baby Eleanor on the Fourth of July in patriotic attire. "Happy 4th of July‼️" Libby captioned the post. Though the family appeared happy in the post, many commenters were skeptical given their bad behavior on-air. "You guys are cute but his anger issues should be addressed. It hurts everyone," one commenter wrote. "Can't stand you two," a more obvious critic commented. "Does he work??" another commenter joked. "Good ol' American dysfunction at its finest," another comment chimed in. "He's so unfriendly! I do not like him!! He makes the wife's family fight !! He likes that," another person wrote.
Though Libby and Andrei are widely disliked by viewers, they did have a number of loyal fans commenting. Some users wished them a happy holiday and expressed praise for the couple. "Y’all are so cute!! Love y’all!! Happy 4th of July," one fan wrote. Others were skeptical of Libby and Andrei's on-screen drama. "Enough with the filters. We know it's scripted AF," another fan wrote. Viewers have been skeptical of much of the season 6 drama, especially after Becky recently hinted at Happily Ever After being scripted. "For a guy who wants to flip houses he sure as hell dont show it," another person wrote. Overall, many viewers expressed that Andrei needed to get help for his anger issues in order to have a healthy family unit.
Overall, viewers have plenty of negative things to say when it comes to the Potthast family. Like Libby and Andrei, her siblings are blasted for being greedy, arrogant and entitled. Meanwhile, Chuck has been called out for his criminal history and seemingly shady business. Despite weeks of steady fan criticism, many viewers believe the family will obtain their own spin-off show. Many fans think the Potthast family will go from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? to becoming the next The Family Chantel on TLC.
