On the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Part two of the Tell-All, Aladin reveals that he would like a divorce from Laura. Upon hearing the news, Laura's son, Liam, can't control his laughter. Liam has never trusted Aladin's intentions with marrying his mother and warned her before the wedding to not go through with it.
51-year-old Laura left her life in America to be with 29-year-old personal trainer Aladin, who lived in Qatar. Just eight months after talking online, the two met for the first time. Then after just three days together physically, Aladin proposed to Laura. She left her comfortable life in America, her two dogs, her job, and her adult son, Liam, to move to Qatar to be with her fiancé. After Liam flew from Florida to Tunisia to be by his mother's side during her three-day-long marriage ceremony with Aladin, tensions ran high. After flying all the way across the world and refusing to participate in the ceremony, Aladin took Liam to a Tunisian bathhouse to talk it over and have a heart to heart. Aladin revealed that he and Liam's 50-year-old mother plan to have children together, that's when Liam grew angry and told him that he won't allow it.
Though in the end, Liam did attend the ceremony to support his mother and Aladin, but never fully trusted Aladin's intentions. At the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All Part 2 episode, a lot is revealed since filming has stopped. The tearful Laura reveals that she and Aladin have split after just six weeks of marriage and that Aladin is looking into divorcing her. Aladin cited the reasoning behind the divorce being that Laura "disrespected" him too often in the relationship. The host of the Tell-All episode brings in Laura's 22-year-old son, Liam, into the conversation via a video call. As soon as Liam appeared on the screen, he was already laughing at his crying mother.
The giddy Liam, barely able to contain his laughter asks, "Mom, are you ok?" Laura replies that she's "not ok, at all." Liam says that their relationship seems to be built on "petty arguments," and that this behavior is "very familiar." When asked what he meant, he said, "To reiterate the same thing that I've always said to you, mom, that you meet up with these men, you spend so much time with them and eventually it all goes south and you end up getting hurt in the end." When asked by the host why he thinks his mom has been repeating this cycle, his reply is simple - it's because of her "bad taste in men." After laughing through the interview, Laura tells her son, "Liam, stop laughing! This isn't a joke!" It seems like he didn't feel too bad for the situation his mom is put in now - no home, nowhere to live, and no money. He just told her "good luck" with the situation he put herself in and that he'll be "in Florida with your two dogs."
It seems that now that Laura's relationship with Aladin is over and Liam couldn't be any more giddy with the fact that he could have his "I told you so" moment in front of America. The fact that Laura's 22-year-old son almost seemed jealous of the fact that Laura would be investing her money into her marriage and into the prospects of having another baby, made audiences feel like it was just his immaturity not wanting his mother to be happy. It's been a hard journey for Laura, but based on her social media, she and Aladin are divorcing but she's living a good life with 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way costar, Evelin Villegas in Equador.
