Laura Jallili of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way recently finalized her divorce from husband Aladin. Laura has already set her sights on a new man: fellow 90 Day Fiancé alum, Geoffrey Paschel.
Geoffrey Paschel appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, where viewers watched him navigate his relationship with Russian beauty Varya Malina. They were a controversial couple, and fans even went so far as to start a petition to get Geoffrey disinvited from the Tell-All because of his criminal past. Before he met Varya, it was obvious Geoffrey was smitten. However, when they met up, it seemed as though there was a disconnect. The feelings they had for each other online didn't translate to reality. They clashed a lot during Geoffrey’s trip. When he left, it seemed as though they may be over for real, but Varya followed Geoffrey to America, ready to declare her love for him and fully dive into their relationship. Unfortunately, Geoffrey started a relationship with another woman, whom he had been friends with for a while. The ladies fought over Geoffrey, but he ultimately chose Varya. Since then, it has been unclear what exactly happened to their relationship.
If Varya and Geoffrey are not together, then that leaves space for Laura, who seems to be showing an interest in Geoffrey. Laura does seem to have a thing for younger men, as her ex-husband Aladin was 29 to her 52. Could this possibly be a match? According to Cheat Sheet, when asked who she would want to date from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Laura said, "Definitely Geoffrey [Paschel] has the physique. I like his personality actually. I think he’s very outgoing. He’s like me, he’s got a sense of craziness. And he’s cute, he’s handsome." Laura went on to defend Geoffrey’s domestic assault allegations, saying “I feel bad for him.” She continued in that vein and said, “We do talk. Not as much as we used to. We used to talk a lot. But, yeah, I feel bad for Geoff because, unfortunately, he is being pre-judged way too quickly.” It's possible that the star's close friendship is the reason why Laura empathizes with Geoffrey.
Is this a match made in 90 Day Fiancé heaven? We may have to wait and see. Geoffrey keeps making promises to fans to provide an update on his relationship status with Varya, but so far each attempt to talk about the romance publicly has failed. Geoffrey has kept fans in suspense regarding his status, which means he may not even be a free man available for Laura to date.
Geoffrey is currently facing domestic assault charges, but he hasn’t spoken much about the case. Still, it seems his legal troubles are no deterrent to Laura. Maybe this is a 90 Day Fiancé match that could actually work out.
