Former 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima doled out truths and tips about OnlyFans to her hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers. Lima's advice follows her firing from the TLC network after appearing on CamSoda, a website that hosts free, live sex cams.

When Lima appeared on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, she garnered attention for her tumultuous relationship with then-husband Colt Johnson, a 33-year-old computer programmer who still lived with his mother. His living situation—and his incredibly close relationship with his mother—caused the couple serious problems. Throughout the course of their relationship, Lima faced hardships ranging from domestic violence charges to threats of deportation by ICE. Since her divorce, Lima has been exploring other avenues for income.

On Tuesday, the Brazilian bombshell answered questions from curious fans on her Instagram story, providing insight into the challenges and rewards of managing an OnlyFans account. Per screenshots from her Instagram account, Lima says her earnings through the adult entertainment website dwarfed the earnings she received from the hit TV series. But it isn't always easy. According to Lima, users can illegally screenshot and share content, and porn websites will do the same. However, there are various financial and personal rewards to running an account, she says.

For the most part, fans asked questions in earnest: "About how much time do you dedicate to OnlyFans daily? What was the hardest part about being on the show now that you're free from it?" Lima replied that new users will never be bored with operating an OnlyFans account, and that "hours chatting and thinking about photoshoots, videos, and clothes" are one of the many positive reasons to consider pursuing it as a career. She also opened up about the stress the show was causing her, and said that creating a character and feeling obligated to play a role was one of the most difficult aspects of appearing on 90 Day Fiancé. Cast member Deavan Clegg also accused the show of being scripted, potentially confirming ardent fans' suspicions about the popular reality TV series.

Given that cast members only make between $1,000-$1,500 per episode—ultimately amounting to $14,500 for a 12-episode season—pursuing other avenues to make money seems more than reasonable, especially for foreign cast members, who don't receive any earnings at all if they're residing in the U.S. without a work permit. While Lima's ex, Colt Johnson, was able to receive money from the show, she was left floundering. It was only in March 2020 and after their divorce that she finally received her work permit in the US.

Ultimately, fans were thrilled that Lima answered their questions in earnest, and reacted positively to her advice. "Thank you for being so open and honest about OnlyFans. I learned a lot!" one follower wrote. But not everyone has been supportive. Since announcing her debut on OnlyFans, Larissa has attracted plenty of bullies. It's clear that, despite having a large audience, she's still experiencing hardship. In addition to being put down by critics, she has allegedly been blackmailed by her son's dad, Marcos Hack, and another woman. Lima, who's a person and not just a performer, is simply trying to earn a living and start a new life in America. She deserves better.
