Many fans have slammed Larissa Santos Lima’s looks as being unnatural and artificial, but the 90 Day Fiancé star revealed that she has a very good reason for looking exactly the way she does. It’s no secret that Larissa’s appearance has evolved through the years, and she’s put in a lot of work and money to get to where she is now. Her look may not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, Larissa’s style makes her happy, and nothing else really matters.
On 90 Day Fiancé, Larissa’s relationship with Colt Johnson was a total train wreck, and it was no surprise to anyone when their marriage dissolved during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Since then, Larissa has parted ways with Colt and TLC, and is currently living in Colorado, though her relationship status seems to fluctuate. Most recently, Larissa has been in the running for Maxim’s 90 Day Fiancé cover girl contest and has even gotten support from her former mother-in-law, Debbie Johnson. Larissa certainly has the Maxim look, and recently she explained why.
After all her plastic surgeries and makeovers, many 90 Day Fiancé fans think Larissa looks unrecognizable from when she first appeared on the franchise, and according to Larissa it’s been a conscious decision to drastically change her look. In a new Q&A on Instagram, Larissa was asked, “What made you want to change so much about yourself physically?” Larissa responded, “I like a thing called ‘Bimbofication.’ I always loved heavy makeup, big boobs, small waist and plastic surgery.”
Larissa also gave background information about what Bimbofication actually is. “Bimbofication is used by social media users to describe when someone becomes more attractive, has a ‘glow-up’ or becomes more sexualized,” Larissa explained, and included a helpful visual aid as well, showing a plain-Jane type of girl morphing into a blonde bombshell. Larissa has been harassed by 90 Day Fiancé fans who judge her Bimbofication transformation, but she doesn’t care about the “negative connotations” the word bimbo has for many people.
The clarification Larissa gave on Instagram shows that her many plastic surgeries might not be an addiction, as many fans have claimed, but rather a conscious decision about transforming her body into something specific. 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa’s looks and glam image are extremely important to her, but if she’s so attached to the bimbo look, then that’s her business. Fans may think she looks fake, but it only matters if Larissa feels beautiful in her own skin, and clearly she does.
The 90 Day Fiancé star has not revealed what her next cosmetic procedure will be, and she’s said that if she does decide to do more, she may not tell fans because “[I] don’t owe anyone [an] explanation.” Larissa has every right to do whatever she wants to her own body, and it’s good to see her taking ownership of her looks, despite what the haters might say. The bimbo look isn’t for everyone, but Larissa’s owning it and is happier than ever with her appearance.
