90 Day Fiancé’s Larissa dos Santos Lima's ex-husband Colt Johnson sides with Larissa's ex-boyfriend Eric Nichols after their split. Eric shared his side of the story, claiming that Larissa broke up with him via social media, and Colt expressed his support to him.
Throughout season four of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Johnson and Larissa were one of the most unpredictable couples of the show. Larissa has made the news consistently for reportedly attacking Johnson at his home during their heated arguments, which have taken place in front of his mother, Debbie. Larissa clashed with her mother-in-law constantly, while Johnson didn't understand why the two women couldn't just get along. The tensions in the home often led to scream-out matches between all three of them. During their season, Johnson and Larissa went through their third arrest for domestic violence that ultimately led the couple getting a divorce. The couple's interactions were forced as they became closer to divorce and it came to no surprise to fans when they split.
Larissa announced she is now recently single again. She said that she and her boyfriend of eight months - Eric Nichols - who fans got a glimpse of on the reunion special have since parted ways. The 90 Day Fiancé star said that she called it quits with Nichols on Wednesday, September 11th via social media. Larissa then revealed that after hearing of the split with Nichols her ex-husband had made an attempt to reach out to her. It seems that attempt at reconciliation turned sour as Johnson became hostile to Larissa, as she posted screenshots of Johnson's text where he called her a “dumb broad," then tried to back-pedaled and said that he cared about her. Then Nichols went to Instagram (via All About the Tea) to explain his side of the breakup. Nichols claimed that Larissa broke up with him via Instagram and he wasn't aware of it until his mother made him aware of it.
He claimed that Larissa's "abrupt, rash decision to break up" happened before an upcoming trip he was planning to Colorado, he claimed that Larissa got mad and accused Nichols of not inviting her. Nichols explained via the post that the trip was planned months in advance and that Larissa was not only aware of it, but that "she herself had been sharing excitement" over said trip. After explaining that his mother had told him that Larissa had broken up with him on social media, he said that didn't think anything of it because he claimed that "these arguments happen between us often." He then claimed that when he finally got to his phone, he read the multiple DM's from Larissa, confirming the break-up, and that's when he discovered that she had blocked him. Larissa's ex-husband then reposted Nichols' post and expressed support for him, writing: “The truth shall set you free. Good luck, Eric" - accompanied with a peace sign emoji.
Larissa's two exes seem to have something in common now, being broke up with by her. Nichols has shared his side of the story and it seems that the two are finished for good. Now that Johnson tried (and failed) to get back into Larissa's good graces, it seems that the two of the men are no longer apart of Larissa's life. 90 Day Fiancé fans will have to wait and see what will happen to Larissa now that she's single - if she decides to stay in America or move back to her home country, Brazil.
