The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Kim Menzies has finally responded to rumors about her being engaged to Usman Umar AKA Sojaboy. 50-year-old Kim found herself in a bit of a messy situation after episode 8, when she was seen pushing Usman, 34, for sex and not taking no for an answer. Fans found Kim’s behavior creepy and sympathized with Usman, who claimed he couldn’t get intimate with Kim because she was not even his real girlfriend. So, when 90 Day Fiancé fans expected an upset Usman to actually end things for good with Kim in Tanzania, a ring that was spotted on her finger on Instagram shocked them.
With a few days left before her two-week trip in Zanzibar ended, Kim decided she’d had enough of Usman’s games and cut to the chase. Kimberly made it clear that she wanted Usman’s "yammy yammy" and pushed him into moving into her room. With confidence escalated by some champagne and a pink nightie, Kim begged Usman to sleep with her and even used her son Jamal to manipulate him. Of course, Kim admitted to feeling embarrassed and made no excuses for her behavior with Usman on 90 Day Fiancé. However, Kim was hurt by people body-shaming her after the scene. She also said on Instagram that she felt beautiful in her own skin. However, the photos featured bling on the fourth finger of her left hand. Fans considered this a sign that Usman proposed to Kim.
Because Usman was always considered to be using 90 Day Fiancé (and Kim) for fame and a Green Card, fans thought that he could have overlooked Kim’s desperation to chase his real dream. However, Kim has tried to nip the Usman engagement rumor right in the bud. Kim posted her reaction to the speculations on the same Instagram post that started them. “FYI....THE RINGS I AM WEARING WERE MY MOTHER'S!!!!!” Kim posted in all caps, showing her frustration at the gossip.
Sally, Kim’s mom who had featured on the first two episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, recently passed away. 90DF's Kim was very close to her mother and even worked as a full-time caregiver to Sally, who was left immobile due to her rheumatoid arthritis. “I love her to death,” Kim said about her mom on the show. Even though Sally was skeptical about Kim flying to Tanzania to meet Usman, she seems to have grown fonder of the Nigerian man. Usman shared a screenshot of his video call with Kim’s mother and referred to Sally as his “mom” in his condolence message.
At the same time, a 90 Day Fiancé blogger @90shotzfired seems to have a “reliable source” in Nigeria that has alleged that Kim is currently in Sokoto, Nigeria with Usman. As per their source, fans will get to witness a scene that involves the ring, which is visible in photos shared by Kim. In her statement, Kim, who gets dragged for her "fake relationship," didn’t really say anything about the engagement. She just mentioned that the rings belong to her late mother. It’s possible that Kim wants Usman to propose to her with her mother’s ring, and Usman does so willingly on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.
