Kim admitted she is going through the “worst time” in her life. But what keeps her going is knowing that she is surrounded by love. It’s not only the death of her mother and sister within a year that’s hurting Kim right now. She’s also recently broken up with Usman, as revealed during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 finale and Tell-All. But Kim assured a 90 Day Fiancé fan, “this isn’t about my break up lol” when they asked her to “stay strong.” Those who gave Kim their words of condolence and sympathy asked her to own her emotions and not be afraid to feel. “It gets better. Small steps,” wrote a fan, and Kim replied, “I’m taking baby steps.”

Kim and Usman may no longer be together, but she is still gaining strength from his support which he conveys through his comments. Kim was devastated upon learning about Usman wanting the phone number of a woman he was seeing for his second marriage. Kim had been body-shamed by Usman in the past when he made fun of her tummy or the way she walks. But reality TV star Usman's sweet talk with his probable 18-year-old wife in Nigeria made Kim comment, “I may walk out this door and meet the man of my dreams,” to 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson.

Kim’s biggest strength, however, is her son Jamal, who’s started to become an integral part of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Usman has been called out for using Kim by Jamal, who’s never one to mince words. Kim’s son has always been the voice of reason in her relationship with Usman. He doesn’t want to see his mom hurting. When her mom passed, Kim decided to focus on herself, her well-being, and her health. It’s not been an easy road for the 90 Day Fiancé star Kim, but she is healing one step at a time as she continues to get prayers and blessings from her fans.
