90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 did not shed the best light on American Kimberly Menzies, and 90 Day Fiancé franchise fans are now calling Kimberly out for her bullying behavior at the Tell-All. Kimberly has made it known throughout her relationship with Usman “Sojaboy” Umar that she is vocal about expressing her opinions, whether they are negative or positive. However, Before the 90 Days viewers were not impressed by Kimberly’s aggressive attitude towards her fellow cast members, including Ella Johnson.
Kimberly and Usman started Before the 90 Days as “potential” romantic partners. Though many viewers believe that Usman is a scammer for consistently dating older American women, Kimberly was blasted by fans for her aggressive behavior towards the singer. Kimberly was very unhappy when Usman didn’t want to be intimate with her, which led to her harassing Usman about sleeping with her during an explosive argument. Kimberly later exploded at her partner when Usman revealed he had been dating a woman named Zara while talking to Kimberly as a friend. Since she has been cheated on in the past, Kimberly said that she is very sensitive to infidelity. This caused her to dislike unfaithful Ella, though she also voiced her dislike for Before the 90 Days star Ximena Morales Cuellar.
Reddit user mime454 shared a screenshot from backstage at the Tell-All that featured Kimberly saying, “I’m really not looking forward to seeing Ximena or Ella.” The user captioned the post, “Kimbaaaaaly is a mean girl in her 50s. Bizarre behavior.” Though Ximena has received polarizing responses among viewers and Ella has been widely criticized, commenters were in agreement that Kimberly was acting immaturely, especially given her own bad behavior onscreen. “She’s very judgy. Also doesn’t seem to be very self-aware…” one top commenter wrote. "Her getting upset when Ben called her a predatory lion further proves how she’s delusional and checked out of reality," another commenter wrote back, as they classified both Ben and Kimberly as having "predatory" behavior.
Though Ella has been villainized by 90 Day Fiancé fans for her selfish behavior, such as cheating on her partner Johnny, many fans felt that Kimberly’s extreme anger towards Ella was out of line. Kimberly went out of her way to verbally berate Ella despite the other woman not returning her clear animosity. “She went in really hard on Ella in a strange way. Almost like she was trying to be like Angela, or trying to take the heat off herself by continually reminding everyone what Ella did,” one commenter wrote. Some commenters likened Kimberly to Angela Deem since both are aggressive older American women struggling to resolve the issue of having a child with their young Nigerian partners. Other commenters blasted Kimberly for being on her “high horse” when it came to judging her fellow cast members.
While many viewers are annoyed with Kimberly's attitude toward her fellow castmates, Mike Berk is also being called out for his Tell-All behavior. Mike had a messy season with Ximena that led to Mike trying to buy back her love after being dumped. However, Mike openly judged Gino Palazzolo throughout the Tell-All, including paying "sugar babies" for companionship. Many viewers were annoyed with Mike's judgment, as he was one of the worst behaved season 5 cast members. Overall, Kimberly and Mike appear to be two 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 franchise newcomers who do not have a strong sense of self-awareness.
