The promo of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way revealed that Kenny Niedermeier's four kids are opposed to him adopting a child because they are scared to lose their father. Armando Rubio and Kenny have overcome many challenges during this new season. After Armando's consistent efforts, his Mexican family has finally accepted his sexuality and his relationship with Kenny. Even Armando Sr., who didn't want to attend their son's wedding, has finally agreed to be a part of the ceremony. Now that Armando and Kenny are getting married, they are also thinking about growing their family.
The couple hasn't decided yet whether they want to adopt a child or have a baby through IVF. While Kenny prefers to give an orphan child a home, Armando is inclined towards having a baby. Before making a decision, they visited an orphanage for HIV+ children to learn more about the adoption process. The orphanage staff told the 90 Day Fiancé couple that the process isn't easy or quick. In Mexico, the adoption process can take up to four years to be completed. Even though this process can be challenging, Kenny is still willing to adopt a baby with Armando.
The 58-year-old reality TV star recently told this life-changing news to his four kids, a son and triplet daughters. But, Kenny's adult kids weren't as supportive of his decision as he thought they would be. Kenny's daughter, Madison, broke into tears and revealed that she was shocked. The kids don't want their father to adopt a child when he already has four kids, a grandson, and Armando's 8-year-old daughter, Hannah. One of Kenny's daughters mentioned, "Like, is he gonna come and see everyone or are we going to come to Mexico, like, all the time? Like, it's not going to work out like that." Kenny's other daughter agreed and raised her concern that their father would forget his grandchildren. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers felt sorry for Kenny and his kids. A fan said, "You can tell his kids just miss him. It's not even about adopting a baby or extending the family-for them they just miss their dad." Another chimed in, "The situation is very tough and confusing on the kids and even Kenny!"
90 Day Fiancé star Kenny already misses his old life in Florida, and it is difficult for him to have this disagreement with his kids. It is probably the first time they are sharing different opinions. Kenny's kids have been quite supportive of his relationship with Armando and his move to Mexico. Contrary to what a few fans believe, Kenny's kids didn't appear selfish. They seemed hurt because they missed not having their father around. Hopefully, they can all come to some understanding before the season's end.
