Fan favorite couple Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way have finally gotten married in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico. The couple encountered many roadblocks on their way to the altar, but they can now truly begin their lives together. In a recent interview, Kenneth and Armando discussed their picturesque wedding and how it felt to have tied the knot after all this time. Many fans consider Kenneth and Armando the most romantic couple in the franchise, so they’re thrilled to hear that they are finally married.
There was a lot standing in the way of Kenneth and Armando’s relationship—the couple has a 26-year age gap between them, they lived in different countries, Armando wasn’t fully out to his parents, and he still had a young daughter to think about. But Kenneth and Armando didn’t let any of that get in the way of their love, and though the couple had trouble securing a marriage license in Mexico, they’ve finally overcome all obstacles and are now wed.
On Saturday, the couple was married at the Mansarda winery in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, and they told People that the difficulty of getting there made the event all the more special. "It's been a long time coming and we're very happy,” Kenneth said. “We're excited to finally be here." The couple was initially told they couldn’t get married in Mexico, so it was challenging to make their wedding happen. "It was a battle in many ways, and so it's surreal to finally be able to get married," Armando commented.
Though the wedding was initially postponed because of COVID-19, the extra time may have been for the better, according to Kenneth. “We planned an epic wedding and a lot of things worked out even to our advantage because we had to wait," he said. The theme of the wedding was “wine, wood, vineyards, and...the outdoors,” and Armando commented, "We like greenery, so we totally transformed the place to make it look like a garden." It must have been fate, because the venue was the first one that Kenneth and Armando looked at, and the couple said it was “gorgeous.”
Family has always been extremely important to the couple, especially Kenneth’s adult children and grandchildren, and Armando’s daughter Hannah, so having them all at the wedding was extra special. "It means everything. I have really supportive children that have always had my back and never let me down," Kenneth commented. "Having them here to witness their dad getting married after all these years is amazingly special for me...They love our relationship and that means the world to me," he added.
As documented on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, the couple’s relationship has not been easy, but after the show, Kenneth and Armando have clearly found the happy ending they were hoping for. With their special day behind them, Kenneth and Armando are able to start their lives together and enjoy the beautifully blended family they’ve created.
