After four days of driving, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Kenneth Niedermeier has finally reached Mexico. While greeting his partner Armando Rubio, the couple couldn't hold back their tears. The duo has finally started their life together in a small Mexican village called La Misión.

Ahead of this massive shift, Armando found an apartment to make sure Kenneth's transition is as smooth as possible. Their house is in a gated community, ensuring their safety as a gay couple. It's a spacious pad with a beautiful balcony. While the American native was traveling, his Mexican partner made sure that their home was clean and tidy. He even made dinner and went out of his way to craft a welcome message for him.

After Kenneth's arrival, the couple goes out to explore the area where they're now living. We noticed that it wasn't very crowded, and there weren't many retail stores around. Thirty-one-year-old Armando also mentioned that the nearest bank is 40 minutes away. The couple is living in a small village called La Misión in the state of Baja California, Mexico (via Wikipedia). Located on Mexican Federal Highway 1, the village has a population of only 920 people, which is why it wasn't crowded. The closest city to their village, called Primo Tapia, is 15 km away. The couple can also have their meals at a restaurant called Puerto Nuevo, which is just 20 minutes away from their home. The restaurant is famous for its lobsters.

La Misión is only 40 miles south of the San Ysidro border crossing. It's so small that it's often referred to simply by the nearby mile marker, "kilometro 44." Despite the tiny town they're living in, Kenneth and Armando's apartment is much better than most rented accommodations we have seen on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. The couple is genuinely making efforts to create a loving life together. They have a week to set up the place, and then Armando's daughter Hannah will join them.

It will be a little difficult for Kenneth to adjust to so many different things at once. In the recent episode, he was not too happy about the fact that their house doesn't have central heat or air conditioning. He is struggling to understand Spanish and finds it challenging to deal with Mexican currency. At one point, Armando called him "picky" and "dramatic." Perhaps there will be friction between the two in the upcoming episodes. Still, we think they're one of the most promising and functional pairs on the show, and hope they will try to make it work anyhow. Fingers crossed!
