90 Day Fiancé star Molly Hopkins' ex-boyfriend Kelly Brown has been talking about her daughter Olivia Hopkins, after Olivia claimed he allegedly “choke slammed” her inside the LiviRae lingerie boutique. Molly was first seen in 90 Day Fiancé season 5, when she married Luis Mendez, a bartender she met in the Dominican Republic. Molly and Luis wed in secret before filming, choosing not to even tell the production about it. Regardless, Olivia was not Luis' biggest fan, especially due to him asking inappropriate questions about the 17-year-old’s boyfriend Matthew.
Six months later, 90 Day Fiancé's Molly Hopkins filed for divorce, and another six months after that, Luis got remarried. Meanwhile, Molly got a revenge body with tremendous weight loss progress. Her chemistry with her best friend Cynthia Decker landed her on Pillow Talk. Molly also starred in 90 Day: The Single Life season 1, where she started dating NYPD cop Kelly, who she met on Instagram. Kelly and Molly made a happy pair on social media, but sparked split rumors by November 2022. At the same time, Cynthia declared she and Molly were no longer friends and won’t be seen together on Pillow Talk again. The reason for Molly and Kelly’s split was speculation until February 2023, when Kelly posted a screenshot of Olivia calling him a “loser” and a “p***y a** n****” in an email. Olivia retaliated by filing a police report claiming Kelly got into an altercation with her on November 21, 2022.

In a statement with InTouch, Kelly denied the incident. “I never punched her or threatened her with any weapon. I really want to be left alone.” Kelly added, “I don’t bother them or even go in their town. I don’t want anything to do with them. It’s over.” He also claimed to have not been “near” Molly and her daughters since November. However, in a second statement, Kelly admitted, “What occurred on November 21, 2022, at LiviRae was an unfortunate verbal incident that we all as a family expected to remain private.” Molly's ex-boyfriend Kelly claimed it was “unfortunate” that Olivia decided to choose to make the incident public three months later. He called the timing “interesting” before adding, “I wish Molly and her daughters all the best and I’m grateful that I’m moving on with my life.”

The report taken by the Cobb County Police Department was also shared by InTouch, where it was mentioned that Olivia was working behind the counter in Molly’s store with her mom and fellow employee Kimberly Tanner. Kelly walked inside, and was supposedly angry with Olivia because of her boyfriend. “Olivia and Kelly both argued with each other. Kelly stated that he would come at her. Olivia said to come at her then,” the report said. At this point, Kelly allegedly rushed to the counter to grab Olivia by her neck before slamming her against the wall. “Kelly then threw Olivia to the ground. Olivia stated that she could not breathe when Kelly grabbed her by the neck,” the report reads. Olivia did not want to “stress her mouth during that time,” which made her wait longer to report the incident, along with the fact that Kelly is a former detective.

Reddit user u/terryjohnson16 shared a link to Kelly’s statement with fellow fans, who replied with comments such as “Seeing as Olivia caught an assault charge for attacking Molly in 2020 I’m gonna give dude the benefit of doubt that there is more to this story.” by one user, and “There's so much we don't know here. Molly has girls and needs to be vigilant with their safety,” from another. According to Olivia, her mom, 90 Day Fiancé star Molly, and Kimberly witnessed the incident, but were unable to supply security footage due to not having “access” to it at the time. Molly supposedly has photos of Olivia with marks on her neck from the incident on her phone. The entire Kelly and Olivia situation is understandably murkier than it seems. Kelly is not denying hurting Olivia anymore, and fans believe that Molly dodged a bullet.
