90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? stars, Karine Martins and Paul Staehle, are having trouble on the new season. So, are they still together? Paul’s temper might have driven Karine back to her home country, Brazil.

Paul and Karine first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The pair encountered many obstacles which created some good laughs for viewers. When Paul first arrived in Brazil he brought three crates of supplies to avoid mosquito bites and infections. Karine withstood his over-cautious nature and ended up accepting his proposal. The pair originally planned to live in Brazil so Karine could be close to her family but Paul was unable to find a job there. While in Brazil, the couple had a son, Pierre. In the current season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, the two are becoming accustomed to life in America-- and Paul’s temper is in high gear.

On the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Paul’s temper had fans wondering if he’s already driven Karine back to Brazil. When the couple arrived at the airport in Kentucky, Paul had trouble with the luggage the couple brought from Brazil. Paul’s mom, Edna, met the couple at the airport and helped them load their luggage into the car. During the short drive to the hotel the couple would be staying in, Pierre began to cry in the backseat. Karine took him out of his car seat to soothe him, causing Paul to freak out. Paul claimed Karine’s actions were illegal, demanded his mom pull over the car, and that's when he stormed off. Paul’s mother called him an idiot for overreacting.

If Karine did decide to move back to Brazil it wouldn’t be surprising. The pair have always had conflicts resulting from Paul’s temper. They even split briefly before because of it. With the stress of a toddler, leaving her family, and dealing with a man-child of her own, the stress might be too much for Karine to handle. Paul’s mother seems to be a buffer preventing Paul from going completely off the rails, but she isn’t present all the time. She even possibly exasperated the stress Paul feels and in turn imposes on his wife. When the pair moved to Kentucky, Edna said they must get a place of their own and refused to let them move in with her.

From the looks of it, the pair are still happily together and living in Kentucky. On her Instagram, @staehlekarine, Karine posted a collection of images of Pierre and Paul for Father’s Day. Paul is taking a temporary break from social media. Karine seems to be enjoying her time in Kentucky now but looks can be deceiving. Paul’s break may be indicative of a desire to spend more time working through his anxieties and prioritizing his relationship with Karine. If this is the case, there may be trouble in paradise.
