Many 90 Day Fiancé franchise cast members have been accused of editing their photos, but fans are putting Kara Bass on blast for seemingly editing her pregnancy body. Kara appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 9 with her now-husband, Guillermo Rojer. While Guillermo was well-liked by viewers due to his sweet nature, Kara was more polarizing. Now many 90 Day Fiancé fans are finding fault with her latest image.
Kara and Guillermo announced at the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 Tell-All, which was filmed at the beginning of the summer, that they were expecting their first child together. Both Kara and her fellow cast member Thaís Ramone shared that they were three months pregnant with their first children. Kara and Guillermo impressed viewers by having the most stable and normal relationship at the Tell-All. Kara has since alluded to their drama being scripted for views, though she said that she doesn't regret her time on TLC. While Kara and Guillermo made it clear that their relationship is healthy, fans are now calling Kara out online.
Kara posted a clip of herself in a crop top that was shared on Reddit by elephanttape with the caption, "She’s facetuning her belly, isn’t she?" Many commenters called out 90 Day Fiancé newcomer Kara for what viewers overwhelmingly agreed were telltale signs of photo manipulation and editing, as Kara's pregnant belly appeared unnaturally shaped and smoothed. "It does look pretty airbrushed," top commenter Alarmed_Meeting1322 admitted. Some users voiced that Kara came across as fake and someone who tries hard to impress, which made photo editing allegations unsurprising. Multiple commenters compared Kara to 90 Day Fiancé season 5 villain Evelyn Cormier, who also rubbed viewers the wrong way with her attention-seeking attitude.
While many commenters believed Kara had Photoshopped her body, she did have some supporters. "Idk. It’s social media. I actually really respect her for learning her husband's dialect of Spanish," Rimurooooo wrote. 90 Day Fiancé star Kara was also defended by some fans who added that their belly buttons looked very different and artificial while pregnant. "In all fairness, when your [sic] pregnant your belly button pops out. I’m a pasty white red head and when I was pregnant my belly button just about smoothed out and was barely visible," AnywhereOk402 shared. Some fans speculated that Kara might have used a filter on her entire appearance and that she wasn't specifically targeting her belly. "Either this isn't a recent shot or she used some kind of slenderizing app on her whole body," anonymous_opinions wrote.
While Kara is far from a 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite cast member, she also wasn't even close to being named a season villain. The American woman was received far more favorably than some of her other fellow American cast members, while Kara didn't do anything extremely offensive to upset viewers. She also earned points for speaking Spanish, which is Guillermo's native tongue, while she currently holds down a respectable job as a realtor. Kara and Guillermo recently landed a spot on Pillow Talk, though many 90 Day Fiancé fans don't think they are popular enough for the franchise's spin-off show.
