Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata from 90 Day Fiancé may be heading towards a divorce, and TLC fans think it’s more than a good idea. Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has been hard on Kalani and Asuelu’s married life, with her even admitting that they sleep in separate rooms and coming to the decision of parting ways in peace. Episode 6 of HEA, however, made Kalani rethink the divorce due to her father Low having to support Asuelu for a lifetime. And this week, Kalani also admitted to having rediscovered her love for Asuelu due to his terrifying accident. But fans feel that Kalani’s happiness will be short-lived, as Asuelu will go back to mistreating her in a few days.
TLC viewers have seen Kalani and Asuelu stay at rock bottom for too long, with multiple tries at giving their marriage another chance not working out. What began as a holiday romance for Kalani and Asuelu soon saw its honeymoon phase coming to an end when the 90 Day Fiancé couple became pregnant. Single mother Kalani had a tough time with Asuelu out of the baby’s life but his coming to America didn’t make a big difference. Asuelu’s immature ways and his family’s interference in their married life drove Kalani to contemplate leaving him. However, Kalani later admitted that starring in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and getting mocked by fans had somehow made Asuelu a better man.
Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? started off with Kalani and Asuelu taking baby steps towards building a better life, as they thought of moving into a new house. But the house of cards crumbled down when Kalani spoke to Kolini about her dead romance, and her playing the role of Asuelu’s mom in the marriage. Being so wrapped up in telling Asuelu what to do and what no to do, Kalani and him sidelined the romance in their relationship, and also found each other sleeping in separate rooms. While Asuelu admitted their sex life was better before the birth of their two sons, the 90 Day Fiancé couple decided to give roleplaying a try.
However, like with every conversation, this one too ended with Asuelu schooling Kalani on how to talk to him, and her confessing, “I feel like I yet again fooled myself into thinking that this marriage was on the right track and that Asuelu was finally gonna change.” Meanwhile, meeting a lawyer to discuss her divorce options complicated things for Kalani when he asked her to stand by in the marriage and think about her kids. But 90 Day Fiancé fans were quick to comment on how it’s better to end things when they aren’t going your way, and also affecting the children negatively.
Moreover, fans also recently came across a video of 90 Day Fiancé sisters Kolini and Kalani in which they twerked away to a TikTok end. Fans commented how this was the happiest they’d ever seen Kalani, which in itself is a big hint. TLC viewers who’ve watched Kalani’s plight on the show go through the broken record of miserableness, think that he deserves better and would be happier without Asuelu who has no intention of bettering himself. Many have also discussed that Kalani and Asuelu might just be better off co-parenting their children and possibly have a healthier relationship as friends.
But things seem to have taken a turn for the better regardless after Asuelu’s car accident which gave Kalani a chance to rethink things. It came as a wake-up call to Kalani who felt their lost love rekindling for Asuelu who would have died and gone out of her life. The thought of living without each other made Kalani cancel the idea of divorce as Asuelu understood the importance of being a better husband and dad. But given how infamous Asuelu is for changing his attitude every other day, 90 Day Fiancé fans want to see how long he continues this “share our energy from our blood and our bones to each other” phase.
