90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Kalani Faagata noticed that her husband Asuelu Pulaa's attitude improved after their intense argument in California. He has been acting in a more responsible way and feels bad about his explosive remarks. Those remarks related to gender roles.

Asuelu turned his son's birthday celebration trip into a disaster. After calling his wife a "lying b**ch" in front of his kids and mother-in-law, he was confronted by Kalani's father. Her dad Low Faagata told his son-in-law that his offensive 90 Day Fiancé behavior would not be accepted in the future. He warned him that he doesn't wish to be "violent", but that he needs to treat his wife better. 24-year-old Asuelu understood his mistake and, in a confessional, promised that he would be making improvements. He is committing to resolving burning issues with his partner.

On the July 26 episode, he did apologize to Kalani for cursing at her, according to MSN. He was also sorry for storming out of the Airbnb, which was reckless behavior. The TLC star admitted that he has "learned from the past", and is now "ready to move forward" from previous fights. His wife accepted the apology and acknowledged that it's definitely a sign of "progress". The two made up quickly and the audience saw them hugging and kissing. It seems like the couple is ready to put the past behind them and looking forward to a new happy start. However, at the same time, Kalani told him to do better and contribute more to the household.

As the Samoan is feeling homesick, he asks Kalani to go and meet his extended family in Washington. 32-year-old Kalani agreed and asked her husband to work as a "team" and not throw her under the bus. She also asked him to not leave the way he did in California. The mother of two feels that this trip would further strengthen their 90 Day Fiancé relationship... and also ease Asuelu's homesickness.

Viewers feel that Asuelu is communicating his feelings and emotions clearly, without creating confusion. Although he promised not to repeat his mistakes, he did throw Kalani under the bus again. His mother consistently demanded one thousand dollars while talking to him over a video call. In the Samoan culture, it's perfectly fine for families to ask for money from their children. Asuelu mishandles the situation by saying that he needs to check with Kalani first, which ultimately made the reality TV conversation awkward for Kalani. Intentionally or unintentionally, he again made things worse for his relationship. But, let's wait for the upcoming 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? episode... maybe he will speak up.
