Julia Trubkina is joining co-star Yara Zaya as becoming one of the season 8 fan-favorites on 90 Day Fiancé. Though she faces drama from her future-in-laws on the hit TLC show, Julia reveals a lighter side to followers on social media.
After quickly falling in love with American man Brandon, Julia was able to join her fiancé in his native Dinwiddie, Virginia, on her K-1 fiancé visa. Since her arrival, Julia has been met with tension from Brandon’s parents, Betty and Ron. Her future in-laws revealed that Julia would be following their strict and controlling rules while living under their roof. Fans were left frustrated by Sunday night’s episode, which saw Brandon being banned from bringing Julia tea before she finished the farm work she has been forced to do. Many viewers believe that Julia is being mistreated by Betty and Ron, while fans also express frustration over Brandon failing to stand up for his fiancé. Fortunately for the Russian dancer, she has been maintaining a positive attitude as the drama unfolds on air.
In the midst of fan drama over Sunday’s episode, Julia shared a funny image to her Instagram on January 20. She posted an image of herself with considerable padding in her chest, while a confused Brandon checks out her enhanced physique. “Guys ! come up with a funny name for the photo,” she captioned the image. Commenters were quick to joke with the couple, with some referring the now-infamous tea incident. “I have plenty of milk for my tea," one commenter wrote. Another show viewer commented, "floatation devices for the hot tub" in reference to Betty and Ron's hot tub- which is only allowed to be used in the nude. Other fans noticed a parallel between Julia’s exaggerated enhancements and another former cast member’s plastic surgery. "Larissa in the making," one follower commented in reference to Larissa Lima's extensive plastic surgery. "Looking like Angela from 90days lol," another person wrote about Angela Deem. "I’m ready to open my Only Fans page now!" another person captioned the photo, likely because many 90 Day Fiancé stars are currently on the platform. Other commenters joked that Julia's chest looked like that of a pregnant woman. After having pregnancy discussed in her plot line, Julia has confirmed that she is not with child. Julia and Brandon have also been interacting with fans through Instagram Story Q&A’s and by posting humorous skits to their accounts.
Though many fans are calling out Betty, Ron and Brandon, Julia has directed no negativity towards the family. In addition to defending their puppy breeding business, she has said that her parents are big fans of her significant other. Though the couple can’t reveal their status until season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé finishes airing, many fans believe that Julia and Brandon are still together and likely are married.
