On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina are living their best life on their Las Vegas honeymoon. Recently, Julia shared details of the trip with fans, including her gambling mishaps. The aspiring Maxim cover girl clearly adores Las Vegas, and her followers were happy to hear more about her trip. The pictures she shared prove Julia’s selfie game is still on point, but, as she revealed, her gambling skills need work.

Julia and Brandon’s journey on 90 Day Fiancé season eight was not a smooth one. Brandon’s parents were overbearing and the couple’s overall maturity has been questioned. But Julia and Brandon ultimately got married and decided to take a honeymoon vacation in Las Vegas. Julia took to Sin City like a fish to water and even talked about moving to Vegas, presumably to get as far away from Brandon’s parents as possible. The couple clearly had a good time on their trip and it might be hard for them to return home.

On Instagram, Julia shared pictures of her and Brandon’s vacation. When she wasn’t making questionable style decisions, Julia looked like she was having an amazing time and revealed that, in true Vegas fashion, she tried her hand at gambling while on the trip. According to Julia, she was up high at first but kept at it for too long. "My winnings were $500, but I immediately lost it.” Fans jumped into her comments section with their own gambling stories and gave Julia tips for the next time she hits the casino.

When you win..stop and leave,” one fan advised Julia, who replied that her husband Brandon told her the same thing, but she obviously didn’t listen. Fans have been highly critical of Brandon, but in this instance, he’s right. Any experienced (or even inexperienced) gambler could tell you that when you’re gambling, you always quit while you’re ahead. Julia fell victim to the hot hand fallacy – thinking that her good luck after winning $500 was likely to continue indefinitely.

Brandon and Julia’s Las Vegas trip on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is a nice change of pace for fans who are tired of seeing the couple’s life back home on the farm. Of course, their vacation has to end sometime, and it might be a bit of a bummer for Julia to return home without the $500 chunk of change that she initially won. But given her love for Las Vegas, she and Brandon are likely to return, and maybe she’ll have better luck in the casino next time.
