Russian girl Julia became an instant fan-favorite and gained sympathy when she moved to Brandon’s farm in Dinwiddie, owned by his parents, Ron and Betty. The tables soon turned when Julia was branded a franchise villain over her views on plastic surgery and her jealousy toward Brandon. However, unlike most of their 90 Day Fiancé cast members, Brandon and Julia are still together, and the reason behind it could be the message he first sent her.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 ended on a complicated note as Julia brought up the topic of a baby and Brandon seemed perplexed to know of her one-sided decision. With the storyline already becoming a snoozefest for fans, some suspected the tears and drama were scripted. Brandon and Julia weren’t considered mature or responsible enough to move out into their own apartment. Married life may not have gone as well for Brandon and Julia as they imagined, but it is something that this TLC couple always wanted.
All 148k Instagram followers of Julia Trubkina were thrilled when she posted a screenshot of the first-ever time she spoke with now-husband Brandon. The Instagram DM screenshot showed Julia saying “wow” about something and him replying with “wow is right.” Then comes the line which Brandon used to floor his former go-go dancer love. “This is crazy but, you look just like my future wife,” Brandon typed, and a shocked Julia had responded with, “what ?? are you kidding.” Pest control technician Brandon then said, “yes of course lol.” But Julia too had a cheeky comeback when she added, “oh and you look like my future husband.”
Dinwiddie boy Brandon was the first cast member to be introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, which was also interestingly called, “I Think You’re My Future Wife.” Brandon revealed that he had met Julia through a friend in a club where she was a dancer. They had video chatted, and Brandon “fell in love immediately.” Julia was “the most beautiful girl” he’d ever seen and he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Six hours later, Brandon told her “you look just like my future wife.”
The friend who played cupid for the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple, A.J. was also present at the housewarming party where Julia declared she wanted to have a baby. The Tell-All for season 6 doesn’t reveal if Brandon and Julia are still on different pages about having a child, but he does mention that her insecurity is becoming a problem. Brandon called Julia “crazy” and she said, “f**k you, Brandon.” Still, Julia and Brandon's marriage does seem to have achieved the “Happily Ever After” status.
