Russian girl Julia Trubkina from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has found her mommy in Angela Deem. Angela has been branded a bully who lashes out at her co-stars and even their family during the previous 90 Day Fiancé Tell-Alls. However, since her weight loss, Angela has shown a dramatic change in her figure and personality. Angela has been rubbing elbows with everyone from Tiffany Franco to Debbie Johnson. However, fans suspect that Angela reached out to these cast members along with Brandon Gibbs’ wife Julia after several TLC viewers asked for her to be canceled from the show.
Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was spent by Angela undergoing weight loss and plastic surgeries, as she celebrated the makeover offline by partying. With the idea being that Michael was always against her getting the operations, Angela partying while he awaited his visa in Nigeria made fans call her a hypocrite. Meanwhile, Angela’s antics on the show continued to get more and more toxic with her anger towards Michael palpable through the angry abuses she threw at him. Fans wondered if Angela would continue her streak on the Tell-All as well and if Julia will be her next target. With Julia believing more in losing weight by going to the “gym club” and Angela doing plastic surgery, a showdown was predicted, until the former dancer called meemaw “mommy.”
In a new Instagram post by Julia Trubkina, she can be seen posing side-by-side Angela, throwing peace signs to the camera outside a Denny’s. Angela held Julia in a motherly fashion and the 90 Day Fiancé stars looked genuinely happy as she called her a “meemaw baby.” In her own caption, Julia wrote, “as everyone has already understood, I do not depend on the opinions of others, I always have my own opinion." Julia who also looked chic in her brunch-friendly look mentioned that she adores Angela, her “90DayFiancé mommy” and that “something interesting will come soon (not baby).”
However, in the comments, fans didn’t appreciate Julia supporting Angela after all that has taken place during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6. One of Julia’s followers asked her if she also adores the way Angela treats Michael by constantly berating him. Angela’s double standards were called out and Julia was also judged for having her as a role model, as a fan called it the “poorest choice.” However, the photos received praise from Julia and Angela’s co-stars, including Anny who called them “Queens."
Fans first saw a friendship developing between Angela and Julia when the latter was in Russia and meemaw had sent her a secret gift to her apartment. “Thank you so much for present, I love it,” Julia had told Angela via an IG story about the mail which Brandon has received. At the same time, Angela was also seen commenting on Libby Potthast’s IG post, asking her to “check your dm plz.” Whether Libby left Angela on read or is planning to meet her soon like Julia is unknown. But it is a possibility that the tricks that Angela pulls on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? might just be made for TV.
