Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi Dufren has revealed he and wife Yara Zaya aren’t out of their rough patch more than two years after getting married. Jovi and Yara became a hit and hot franchise couple after their debut in 90 Day Fiancé season 8. Yara and Jovi met when they matched on a travel app. They soon explored many places around the world until they realized Yara was pregnant. Unfortunately, Yara suffered from a miscarriage, and Jovi not being by her side back then left her heartbroken. However, Yara moved to be with Jovi to the United States, and their journey to the aisle was filled with many obstacles.
Due to Jovi’s demanding job as an ROV supervisor, he had to be away from Yara for months on end. Shortly after Yara came to New Orleans, she became pregnant again. Jovi was away at work during most of Yara’s pregnancy, and when he returned, she was devastated to learn that he was not being a responsible family man. Jovi’s love for alcohol and strip clubs angered Yara, who said she wanted to go back to Ukraine. Yara had had enough of Jovi still living his bachelor life despite now having a wife and a child. But Yara and Jovi trusted their relationship enough and tried to mend it again. Fans have been following Jovi and Yara’s relationship on social media as they are currently trying to find a city to settle in.
However, things are not really as smooth sailing between Jovi and Yara as Instagram makes it appear. Jovi has been talking about their marriage struggles a lot with his fans. During a new Q&A session, Jovi spilled his heart about the reality of his life with Yara and baby Mylah. A fan asked him if he feels like he and 90 Day Fiancé partner Yara are out of their “rough patch.” Jovi laughed and answered, “not at all.” He reminded the fan that they have a small child and are both working 24/7. Because of their busy work schedules, Yara and Jovi are hardly left with any time to spend together during the day.
“No, we are not nearly out [of] our rough patch,” Jovi admitted. But he does seem to be praying for better days. “Hopefully someday soon,” he added. On the bright side, Jovi did confess that it’s been “worse” in the past. But whatever they are facing right now is “still tough.” Meanwhile, Jovi said that his work turnarounds have gotten better and he’s grateful for that. 90 Day Fiancé celeb Jovi is still working round the clock even in summer and doesn’t have any fun plans with Yara. “I wish we had some hahah. Any ideas???,” Jovi asked his 337K-plus followers. Jovi also revealed he plans on getting a small “inside” dog for Mylah soon, since she loves pets.
But that will have to wait until Jovi and Yara settle down. They are still trying to find someplace which suits their lifestyle. Jovi and his family have been temporarily staying in hotels to get a feel of what living in different cities would be like. So far, their shortlisted options are Florida, Texas, and Arizona, with Mylah having taken a liking to Florida. Jovi accepts that he wouldn’t have stayed together with Yara if Mylah wouldn’t have entered their life. The beginning of their marriage was very hard and it's because of Mylah that this 90 Day Fiancé relationship has supposedly survived.
