90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya left their New Orleans home to escape the impending severe weather from Hurricane Ida. The tropical storm is set to rage against the gulf coast of Louisiana. Fans saw Jovi bring Yara from Ukraine to New Orleans on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. Viewers saw Yara struggle to acclimate to life on the bayou, where the fun-loving Jovi grew up and liked to let loose. After Jovi and Yara wed in Las Vegas, they welcomed a baby girl, Mylah, in September 2020.

Yara moved from Jovi's downtown New Orleans bachelor pad to a quiet suburban apartment on Happily Ever After. Despite becoming what Jovi called "boring Yara" after having baby Mylah, fashionista Yara loves to keep up her chic lifestyle with stylish posts on Instagram. Though she's slowed down in motherhood, the married couple has shared photos of themselves enjoying getaways to New York City, Hollywood and, most recently, a Florida beach house. However, Jovi and Yara's latest travels were due to an emergency.

Yara announced on Instagram that her family left New Orleans to escape the fast-approaching hurricane. The Ukranian beauty shared photos of herself and her family of three in downtown Dallas. "We evacuated," Yara announced. "We're fine guys, don't worry, we had to leave our house and go to a safe place." Yara also gave an update on Jovi's mother and 90 Day fan-favorite, Gwen. "Mrs. Gwen is good too, she's safe," Yara said. "Thanks to everyone who is worried about us. I hope everything will be good with those who decided to stay," she concluded, adding prayer hands emojis.

Yara also took to her Instagram Stories to let fans know how she, Jovi and the baby were holding up through their evacuation. The online boutique owner posted a video of their high-rise hotel room in Dallas. "We are so smart to come to Dallas because some of my friends and Jovi's family are stuck on the traffic to Houston and [they're] stuck in [Lafayette] for six hours," Yara said while filming her hotel room view in a video post. Jovi chimed in from behind the camera to say the drive, which usually takes two hours, is taking six hours to evacuate travelers at this time. Yara added a caption to the video: "Hopefully everyone will be safe. I pray for y'all."

Yara and Jovi appear to be making the most of their trip to Dallas, wearing smiles on their downtown outings. Fans are also happy the young couple made it out of New Orleans in time, especially for baby Mylah's safety. Yara has been accused of being too protective of her newborn by both 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans and her husband when she refuses to leave her baby's side. Due to the emergency in their home state, it's clear the young mama made the right decision to leave the Big Easy for the time being.
