If Mike Youngquist infamously called it quits with Natalie Modovtseva on 90 Day Fiancé over cold feet, could last-minute nerves cause Jovi Dufren to do the same with Yara Zaya, a relationship that started in Budapest. All through the season, TLC viewers have seen Yara and Jovi bicker over his alcohol love and not giving his future wife attention. However, little did the carefree couple who had crossed paths on a dating app expect to see themselves in Las Vegas tying the knot on a reality show! Before the season 8 finale showcases their wedding and introduces their baby to the world, 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi revealed how Yara had met him and changed him for the better in Budapest.

The power dynamic between Yara and Jovi has been the spice of their storyline in 90 Day Fiancé. With the headstrong, supposed gold-digger Yara, coming from Ukraine to New Orleans and finding a different version of the fiancé she’d met aboard, fights were bound to happen. As Jovi promised over and over again that he’d change, especially after knowing about the baby, Yara grew more and more disappointed in her man. But while still keeping 90 Day Fiancé star Yara in the dark about his tryst with strippers, Jovi is all set to marry his fashionista partner, only if his jitters don’t come in the way.

Jovi had first spoken about how he’d met Yara out of sheer boredom during one of his work trips on the sea. Loneliness drew the 90 Day Fiancé star towards a travel app, where he saw Yara and decided to meet her for a hook-up. The Kyiv resident who “turns heads when she walks,” however, got Jovi completely smitten as the couple wined and dined, and decided to travel the world for six months. However, during a 90 Day Bares All episode, Jovi had confessed that their first meeting was “very very awkward,” with Yara adding that her first thought was, “Why is this guy dressing so disgusting?” because he was wearing a “so ugly jacket.”

Yara’s 90 Day Fiancé partner Jovi had admitted that Yara had hated the “typical American way” in which he was dressed, however she did later realize that “he is nice.” To show fans the jacket that he was wearing, Jovi Dufren uploaded a set of throwback pics from “the first week” Yara and he had met in Budapest. “Thermal baths to how fast she changed my wardrobe as you swipe over,” wrote Jovi in his Instagram caption as the photos showed his style transition from one photo to another.  “Wow she leveled you up,” commented a 90 Day Fiancé viewer, and another fan added, “Lmao she spiffed you up, my dude.”

No wonder Yara is being touted as the most glamourous cast member of 90 Day Fiancé yet. From her “eye dare you” jacket to the way she hangs her blazers over her shoulders, Yara’s style has been trendsetting since her first episode on reality TV. The young mother now has her own fashion store, with pieces getting sold out as soon as she puts them for sale. And if Yara the diva wanted to give styling advice to someone, who better than her 90 Day Fiancé husband-to-be, right?
