Since season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé premiered on December 6, fans have been eagerly following the new couples. The romance started when 29-year-old Jovi from Louisiana and 25-year-old Ukrainian Yara fell for each other during a surprise romance while Jovi was traveling. Their relationship has been anything but easy as the couple suffered a miscarriage, but still decided to stick with Yara’s plans to join Jovi in New Orleans on a K-1 fiancé visa. Unfortunately for the couple, things have been rocky since her arrival. Jovi has a colorful past that includes possible alcohol abuse and playboy tendencies. The American has expressed hesitancy over settling down, while Yara has been shown to be critical of his behavior and disapproving of their home. Though many signs point to the couple breaking up, fans believe that the couple is still together due to surprising information.
Though Jovi and Yara did not share images of New Year's Eve celebrations together, both documented their evenings. Yara shared a stunning photo standing next to a Christmas tree in a tiny black dress that she said in the comments was purchased at a boutique in Kiev. Her Instagram Stories showed her ringing in the new year at home with a cake, drink, and tray of berries and chocolates. The laidback evening contrasted with the video party boy Jovi reposted to his story. After sharing a video of himself with an open bottle of Prosecco captioned "new year new me," Jovi shared what was presumably a throwback video featuring a crowded party and people spraying bottles of champagne. Jovi's party boy tendencies and rambunctious past have been a source of tension for the couple. Despite indications that their relationship is on the rocks, however, rumors have surfaced that Jovi and Yara actually got married last February and now have a baby girl together. A source that claims to live in the same town as Jovi claims that the couple married in Vegas and filmed a special about their baby. Fan sleuthing revealed a September registry for a baby girl that could potentially be Jovi and Yara’s child. However, the couple has yet to confirm these rumors.
News of Jovi and Yara being potentially wed and parents would certainly surprise fans given their frequent disputes on the show. However, the news would suggest that the couple has matured and they are moving forward with their relationship. Jovi, and especially the beautiful Yara, have become very popular among fans of the franchise and are expected to be featured in some of the new 90 Day Fiancé shows airing on the new streaming service discovery+. The paid streaming service will launch in the U.S. on Monday, with many season 8 couples, including Jovi and Yara, expected to premiere in the platform's new show 90 Days Bares All. The show will feature popular franchise couples sharing exclusive secrets and revealing new information.
