90 Day Fiancé star Jovi Dufren surprised his followers by showing off a new hairstyle on social media. Viewers first met New Orleans man Jovi in 90 Day Fiancé season 8 alongside his Ukrainian partner, Yara Zaya. At first, fans weren’t sure how they felt about the couple. Jovi was constantly drinking and partying, which annoyed Yara, and the two argued a lot. Fans also thought Yara often came off as entitled or frequently complaining. At the end of the season, however, the pair welcomed a daughter, Mylah. This family is now among many fans' favorites on the show.
Since his franchise debut, Jovi has done a lot of things that surprise his fans. For starters, Jovi had an unusual job as an ROV Supervisor, an underwater robotics job that sent him all over the world. Viewers were surprised by this, as they hadn't heard of this job before. However, they were equally surprised when he quit his job in order to stay home with Yara and Mylah. This shocked viewers as well, who were perplexed when the former party boy decided to get married in the first place.
Jovi's new haircut, however, is the most surprising thing he's done in a while. Jovi recently took to Instagram to show off his completely bald head in a new photo with Mylah and Yara. In the caption, the reality star invited viewers to call him "Mr. Clean" in a reference to the new hairstyle. Fans have never seen Jovi without a full head of thick, dark brown hair, so the new look is quite the change. Most viewers in the comments lamented the new look, saying that the New Orleans man had great hair before, so they weren't sure why he decided to get rid of it. Some of Jovi and Yara's fellow 90 Day Fiancé cast members commented as well, such as Kenneth Neidermeyer, who said that he himself would never shave his head.
However, although most of Jovi's followers seemed to be in agreement about how they felt about the hairstyle, they didn't all believe that Jovi actually shaved his head. A few fans remarked that they didn't think Yara would be okay with Jovi going completely bald. For this reason, some viewers doubted the validity of the photo and thought it was simply a prank. Most viewers could not believe their eyes, and some asked if Jovi shaved his head because he lost a bet.
In fact, there is something else on Jovi's Instagram that hints at the bald photo being a joke after all. Since posting the perplexing picture to his Instagram, Jovi shared other photos to his Instagram Story in which he still had his full head of hair. Either the photos on his Instagram Story were older or the reality star is completely pranking his followers and pretending as though he shaved his head. The photo looks pretty convincing, so he would have to have a pretty decent bald cap. 90 Day Fiancé fans will find out whether or not Jovi is fooling his followers soon enough.
