The no-nonsense brunette has become beloved by fans due to the way she refuses to accept Jovi’s bad behavior. Gwen encourages maturity in her son and is not afraid to call out Jovi when he acts immaturely. The mother also has supported Yara, including when she was heavily pregnant and Jovi was delayed for work for four months. Something that many fans don’t know is that Gwen actually has a second son. 31-year-old Jovi has a little brother who is several years younger. Jovi attended South Lafourche High School in Louisiana. It appears that his younger brother Mason Eymard was one of 255 seniors who graduated in 2012, according to the Daily Comet. This would place Mason at approximately 27 years old. Mason shares the same surname as Gwen and her husband Monty Eymard. However, Jovi’s last name of Dufren might indicate that he has a different biological father. Gwen has confirmed on her Instagram that Jovi and Mason are her only children. Though Jovi and Mason might be half brothers, they appear to both have been raised by Gwen and Monty. Jovi confirmed on Instagram that he was happy to have been raised by his loving parents. This means that Mason was likely treated to the same family-oriented upbringing that Jovi enjoys in Louisiana. Jovi has shared that he is very close with his family and his mother in particular. Though the globetrotting party boy enjoys documenting his life on social media and TV, Mason has a private Instagram account and appears to prefer discretion. Growing up in the Eymard family appears to involve plenty of crawfish boils. Gwen reveals in her Instagram bio that she is proudly Cajun, which means that Jovi and Mason also have Cajun ancestry. Mason does not appear to share his older brother’s signature toothy grin. However, he is a new uncle to Jovi and Yara’s infant daughter Mylah.
