After sharing that she is no longer friends with Angela Deem, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? co-star Jojo recently shared a cryptic message to Instagram about her choice to "stop talking to some people" with no explanation. Viewers met Jojo in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5. The season showed Jojo flying to Nigeria to be a witness for Angela's wedding to Michael Ilesanmi.
When Michael's visa to come to the United States was not approved, Angela decided to get married to him in Nigeria instead. In order to do this, she was told she would need a witness from the United States in order to prove that her marriage to Michael was legitimate. Angela's daughter, Skyla, was unable to fly to Nigeria, so Angela's best friend Jojo agreed to come instead. Jojo, whom Angela affectionately referred to as her "sissy," was also there for Angela in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 after Angela underwent major weight loss surgery.
Jojo shared an image on Instagram with the caption, "Some people ask me, why do you stop talking to some people without an explanation? Because people know what they've done to me." The rest of the message said that there is no need to explain anything to an adult who has treated you badly because what's done is already done. Jojo's caption alongside the pre-written message simply said, "Truth!" This post comes just a week after Jojo publicly announced on Instagram that she and Angela are no longer friends. Jojo did not elaborate on the reason for her friendship with Angela ending.
Although Jojo's new Instagram post does not explicitly reference Angela or their friendship, fans in the comments section assumed that it was a reference to their recent friendship split. One commenter wrote that from what they saw on the show, Angela seemed like a toxic friend and that Jojo's friendship with the reality TV star was an "abusive relationship." The commenter also stated she was proud of Jojo for setting boundaries with Angela and ending their friendship accordingly. Another fan left a comment on Jojo's post referring to Angela as selfish and saying that Jojo is better off without her.
Because this new post comes only a few days after Jojo announced the end of her friendship with Angela, it definitely seems like the new post is about the TLC star. Neither Jojo nor Angela have explained what happened between them to cause the end of their friendship, but the show portrayed Jojo as being there for Angela in times of need--to be a witness for her wedding and after her surgery--and did not show anything that Angela ever did for her. This, plus Angela's frequent dramatic antics such as picking fights with fellow cast members and flashing viewers during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 Tell-All episode, may cause some 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers to glean that their relationship was one-sided, and Jojo was just over it. It is unclear whether Angela will appear on future TLC shows, so fans may have to follow social media posts in order to see what happens next.
