The 34-year-old single dad recently debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 with his "immature" American girlfriend Ella Johnson. The couple found each other online and have been trying to meet in person. The Chinese reality star was initially planning to fly to the United States to meet Ella. But the couple's plan to spend some quality time together in Idaho didn't work out.
Later on, Johnny tried to arrive in America through an indirect route and booked a ticket to Dubai, but he didn't actually catch the flight due to the high cases of COVID-19. Even though Johnny's reasons for not coming to America were valid, Ella refused to understand him. Towards the end of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, she revealed that she had cheated on her Chinese boyfriend. Ella explained that since she felt lonely without Johnny, she slept with one of her friends. While most of Ella's co-stars trashed her for her wicked act of infidelity, Johnny showed a big heart by defending her.

He recently shared a few pictures of himself with a new handsome look on Instagram. Johnny wore a brown shirt and rocked a cool new beard and mustache. Johnny looked extremely different from his time on the show. On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he had a clean-shaven face, but now he's sporting a more trimmed bearded look. He also shared pictures of his city and his food and captioned the post as "Today is a beautiful day," while adding, "I trimmed my beard and climbed to the rooftop cooked spicy cabbage for dinner."
