The Korean man was a fan-favorite on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, and more fans sympathized with him after Deavan left him on the finale, and found a new boyfriend in Topher Park. The controversial pairing of Deavan, from Utah, and Jihoon was introduced on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 with them welcoming baby Taeyang and her flying to South Korea. It was during their first meeting itself that Deavan and Jihoon, who met on a dating app, had become pregnant. However, things went haywire during season 2 of The Other Way when Deavan moved to Korea for good, and then dumped Jihoon in the finale after their split in August 2020. Since then, Jihoon has maintained a low profile on social media, as Deavan has been living a happy family life with Topher.
Seeing no updates from 90 Day Fiancé star Jihoon on Instagram, fans have been wondering what he’s been up to in Korea. Jihoon was last making headlines when he got himself a new face with fillers, and a nose job. This sparked rumors of Jihoon trying his luck with being a YouTube star or modeling, just like Deavan, as he battled to get custody of his child. Oddly enough, Jihoon Lee's last post on IG is of his poodle Bbakki, and it has been receiving a lot of comments from concerned fans asking, “Where are you?” and “are you ever coming back?” A fan on Reddit started a thread captioned, “Can TLC bring back Jihoon?” in the hopes that Jihoon’s "new face” won’t go to waste if he joins Single Life season 2.
The fan wondered if Jihoon could find a new love in the US and if it would help in the custody issues. A fan replied to the post with, “I pray he needs a really nice girl that will treat him right and not as a tool just to have a half Korean baby,” but many others thought it was best if Jihoon continued to stay away from 90 Day Fiancé.
