TLC fans watched the final episode of the season as Jihoon unknowingly said goodbye to his wife and son forever. Many believe that Deavan Clegg had no intention of ever returning to South Korea as she explained to fans that she was leaving to save their marriage. Since their separation was announced, the two have taken to battling it out on social media as Deavan shows off her new Korean boyfriend, Topher Park, and Jihoon revealed he finally moved out of his parent's home.
Since ending their marriage, Jihoon has posted tiny digs at his wife, including a post only two weeks about a "B*tch festival" which fans knew was aimed at the mother of two. Currently, the two are embroiled in a nasty abuse allegation with Jihoon taking to Instagram to share with fans that he was “ashamed” he was on the show.
In a black and white Instagram story, the father of one posted a melancholy review of himself and the series as he wrote, “Looks like the show’s finally over. I didn’t watch the show, but I could check through DM. I think I learned a lot from marriage and divorce. I was ashamed to see myself on the show. Nevertheless, I sincerely thank you for your support.” The newly single father continued on by writing, “This show and divorce have been a turning point in my life. I feel like I need to work harder with this. Thank you so much for always supporting me.” For months now, Jihoon has been silent on social media as he tried to work on himself, and most fans feel he is trying his best to grow up.
Jihoon has been posting photos of himself during his daily workday routine as a delivery person and also underwent a total makeover of the eyebrows while also treating himself to a new nose. Deavan has said she filed for divorce but that Jihoon refuses to sign the paperwork to finalize it. The couple will not be appearing on the reunion tell-all special due to the abuse allegations that Deavan has brought against him, claiming he hurt her daughter, Drascilla, by pulling her hair out.
