90 Day Fiancé’s Jihoon Lee may have landed himself in some pretty hot water. Ever since his troubled past on the TLC show with Deavan Clegg made way for a split, the couple had kept mum about things. Deavan did claim that Jihoon had done some unspeakable things that led to their separation but, she couldn’t reveal them because of her contract. However, now that the child abuse allegations Davean made against Jihoon are out in the open, the 90 Day Fiancé star could be facing a prison sentence.

Jihoon Lee’s contribution to his 90 Day Fiancé relationship has always been dismal. Since meeting Deavan, 23, in America, to being unable to find proper accommodation for her in South Korea, Jihoon, 30, had hardly proved himself as a family man. While Deavan kept claiming that she was the one managing their son Taeyang’s expenses, she also had revealed about the $50k she’d spent on Jihoon. He still called her to Korea by lying about having well-paying jobs only to declare later that he liked taking naps instead of working. But him being unable to look after Deavan’s daughter as she ran off, somehow triggered a chain of events that caused further tensions between the 90 Day Fiancé couple. Earlier this year, Deavan returned to America with her children, and soon, news of her spilt with Jihoon became public. It was reported that TLC had helped her come back home and that she and Jihoon were asked to not attend the couples' Tell-All. The reason? Deavan accusing Jihoon of abusing Drascilla. And if the young mother’s allegations do stand true, Jihoon could be on the verge of getting a ten-year jail term.

According to child protection laws in Korea, child abuse offenders face a minimum of five years in prison, while the maximum sentence is ten years,” reports BlastingNews. Jihoon’s 90 Day Fiancé ex has not gone into details as to what exactly happened during the incident but considering she was flown out by TLC does speak volumes about its seriousness. If Jihoon were to get extradited, since Deavan and her children are in America, there is a possibility of the Korean man getting life imprisonment. All this while, Deavan had been repeatedly asking her curious followers to keep waiting for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All episode to know the truth. Jihoon too, oddly, was mimicking her on his Instagram. But since the couple won’t be appearing for the reunion, one might have to rely on Deavan to disclose the details, only if she wants to, on her social media.

Meanwhile, Deavan has been trying to get a divorce but Jihoon has claimed to not having received any papers. AllAbouTheTea had reported that “Deavan is not Jihoon’s legal wife in the United States.” The 90 Day Fiancé celeb’s marriage is supposedly not legal in the U.S. but is only legal in South Korea. Jihoon wouldn't be unable to file for divorce himself since there exists a specific adultery law that prohibits him from filing, as Deavan is now in a new relationship with Topher Park. “The only way she can file in the states for a Korean divorce is if she claims abandonment, and has no contact with Jihoon for 3 years,” states the source.

Deavan, who’s been facing her share on flak on social media for having moved on too soon, has made her new romance with Topher public. The 90 Day Fiancé star recently posted a picture with Topher on her feed and has also announced that she will be featuring in his digital fashion magazine toph&her soon. Deavan’s kids too, seem to have taken a liking to Topher, as he featured in a video on her YouTube channel enjoying a day out with Drascilla and Taeyang. Deavan’s 90 Day Fiancé relationship might have not gone the desired way, but her new love does seem to be keeping both her and her children happier than she ever was with Jihoon.
