However, her ex-boyfriend Colt Johnson and his mother Debbie Johnson couldn't even fake happiness. Instead, they accused Jess of getting married for a Green Card. Getting a Green Card isn't always easy. Jess wants Carmen to step up and support her so she can stay in the United States with her husband.
The trio meets for dinner, and the couple reveals that they have initiated the application process for her visa. However, their lawyer has informed them that Brian isn't making enough income to support and sponsor his wife. Unfortunately, his parents have also refused to sponsor Jess. If they can't find a sponsor for the Brazilian native, she will be living in America illegally.
The meeting was in vain because Larissa's ex-BFF wasn't comfortable with such a huge financial responsibility.
