Former 90 Day Fiancé couple Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh may already be married according to her daughter’s comment on Instagram. Jenny began dating Sumit around 2012 after meeting him on Facebook while he pretended to be Michael Jones. Despite the catfisher coming clean a year later, Jenny also fell for Indian man Sumit, almost 30 years her junior. But their reality TV relationship didn’t end with marriage on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2. Sumit decided to give Jenny a promise ring instead. Could things have changed for Jenny a year later, and is she now Mrs. Singh?
While Sumit’s catfishing ploy backfired when he and Jenny both fell for each other being 8000 miles away, it was his secret wedding that broke the 61-year-old’s heart to pieces. Even though Sumit continued dating 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny long distance, he also married a woman of his parents’ choice while keeping her in the dark. Jenny finally learned of Sumit’s lies through a terrifying incident in India, but still waited for his divorce so she could marry him. However, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way saw Sumit turning into a typical mama’s boy while giving in to Sahna’s threats and deciding to stay with Jenny without marrying her instead.
But on a recent 90 Day Bares All episode, it was revealed that Sumit’s mother was actually okay with Jenny and him getting married as long as they did it in America. The “what would society say?” question possibly made Sahna scared of her family’s reputation due to Jenny and Sumit’s age gap. But things may have changed between the 90 Day Fiancé couple according to Sumit’s latest Instagram post. While sporting his new longer hair, Sumit Singh posed with Jenny on what appears to be a hotel room bed for a selfie captioned, “We can only learn to love by loving. So keep loving.”
And in the comments, Jenny’s daughter Christina who’s also appeared on several 90 Day Fiancé episodes, wrote “Well said pops” to Sumit. The Uttar Pradesh resident replied with a bunch of laughing emojis, as a TLC viewer asked, “sooo they married?!” While marriage rumors between Sumit and Jenny began last year after being spotted with rings, it was later revealed that they were promise rings. But the picture taken in a hotel could indicate that Sumit and Jenny are possibly honeymooning after a wedding. Add to that the question of how 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny has still managed to stay in India on a tourist visa since she’s been with Sumit for more than a year.
But even if Sumit and Jenny are now husband and wife, given their popularity, it can be expected for them to get another 90 Day Fiancé spin-off to document their journey. However, Jenny’s daughter Tina could also have been pulling Sumit’s leg in the comments by calling him her “pops.” While it does show that Sumit is finally being accepted by Jenny’s family, whether it is with him being her daughters’ stepfather, is a mystery that only 90 Day Fiancé can finally solve.
