Jenny Slatten, a grandmother from Palm Springs, Florida, used up all her savings to meet Sumit Singh in Delhi, India. Although the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s journey was based entirely on lies, Jenny wished to get married to her catfisher Sumit. Sumit lied again about his marriage that happened during the course of his relationship with Jenny, but she forgave him again. Jenny’s third trip to India was when she decided to settle down for good with Sumit after his divorce. However, his parents showed an apparent displeasure towards the American woman. They spoke about Jenny coming to their house while pretending to be Sumit’s Facebook friend, overstaying her welcome, and having sex with him unbeknownst to them. 90 Day Fiancé fans now have to wait until the show returns in October to see what happens between the two. Sumit and Jenny have both been oddly quiet on social media since the last 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode. But Sumit broke his silence yesterday by posting an Instagram selfie with ladylove Jenny. At first glance, it looks like any other selfie, but on closer inspection, one can observe a ring on Jenny’s finger. A few 90 Day Fiancé fans noticed she wasn’t wearing any such ring in her previous photos. Jenny recently confirmed via her own Instagram post that she’s currently quarantined in India with Sumit. If Jenny is wearing a ring, it could mean she and Sumit are finally engaged.
Previous 90 Day Fiancé episodes showed Sumit applying for divorce, so if he and Jenny are really engaged, there could have been some happy developments on that front. There was talk of Sumit having to pay his father-in-law $20,000, which finally must have been settled. Alternatively, the ring could mean Jenny and Sumit have had a roka or pre-wedding ceremony that is the official announcement of consent for marriage from the bride and groom. Neither Jenny nor Sumit have replied to comments from 90 Day Fiancé fans about the ring on the post. However, given how happy they look together, news surely seems to be on the way.
