90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3 star Jenny Slatten has praised Sumit Singh for helping her out when both had tested positive for COVID-19 in India. The OG couple of the popular 90 Day Fiancé spinoff Jenny and Sumit are still together after dating for almost 10 years. This season will show Jenny going to an astrologer while dealing with Sumit’s mother Sahna who’s now their roommate. Whether Jenny impresses Sumit’s mom with her dutiful daughter-in-law tactics is a mystery. But Jenny has found out she can count on Sumit during her difficulties.

In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2, Jenny, 61, relocated for good from Palm Springs, California, to be with Sumit, 32, in India. With Sumit divorced, Jenny was free to marry Sumit, but his parents' permission only allowed them to have a live-in relationship after they exchanged promise rings. On April 28, Sumit and Jenny revealed heartbreaking news of them being COVID-19 positive and that they were “doing okay and hoping to recover asap.” Owing to Jenny’s old age, and Sumit’s supposed history with diabetes, fans grew concerned about the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s health. By April 29, India's Ministry of Health had reported over 200,000 deaths and 18.3 million cases, further alarming fans.

But Jenny and Sumit Singh soon recovered, and a recent video posted by the Indian 90 Day Fiancé star on his Instagram shows them recounting the “scary” experience. “He was a big help to me, took care of me a lot,” said Jenny, who also confirmed that they’re “perfectly fine now.” Sumit added, “India was going through one of the very scariest times and we were scared too,” and said, “now we are safe.” Uttar Pradesh resident Sumit admitted that they didn’t want to go to the hospital. “Because maybe we’re gonna get a good treatment or not,” was Sumit’s explanation.

But the good thing is that we follow the protocol whatever required,” Sumit, who doesn't plan to have kids with Jenny, admitted. “We take the medicine sometime and try to fight it,” he continued as Jenny nodded. Jenny also mentioned that they did breathing treatments and everything that they were “supposed to do.” According to Jenny, Sumit made sure that she “got up” because if left to her own devices she would have continued sleeping. “Because that’s all I wanted to do but he didn’t bug me,” the former resort employee Jenny said. According to Jenny, “It's best to get up, walk around, move around. Get your lungs open.” And eventually, Sumit was “a big help” to 90 Day Fiancé celeb Jenny as he took care of her “a lot.”

While it’s now known that Sahna will be a major cast member in Sumit and Jenny’s storyline for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, her being around to help them during their struggle with COVID-19 could have shaped the future of their relationship. Fans noticed that since their recovery, Sumit and Jenny have taken up healthier choices with food and yoga, and some have noticed that the ex-call center employee has even lost weight. Sumit’s hairstyles are always the talk of the 90 Day Fiancé town whenever he posts on Instagram. Jenny also gets compliments telling her that her skin is glowing.
