As per 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny Slatten, she and Indian boyfriend Sumit Singh are now engaged, and there’s even a beautiful ring for proof! Their relationship hardships were documented in their storyline on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, based in India. After being catfished once and lied to about a secret marriage, Jenny still moved to Sumit’s country, leaving her daughters and grandkids behind in California. While Sumit did get a divorce, he only gave Jenny a promise ring in the season 2 finale. However, Jenny and Sumit are still together, and one step away from being married.
Sumit and Jenny were last seen on reality TV via 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and fans have been curious about their whereabouts since. The couple rarely posts on Instagram, and this led to the concoction of rumors about Sumit and Jenny. While staying in India for over a year, the couple also battled COVID-19 and recently recovered to update fans about their good health. But amidst this, fans came across photos of Sumit looking dapper in a suit, giving rise to rumors about him marrying a second time, and somehow not to Jenny.
However, Jenny was quick to laugh away at the rumors by sharing a rare sweet selfie with Sumit, who is now also her fiancé. On Facebook, where she is much more active and often mingles with fans, Jenny Slatten posted a video titled, “enjoying our day” which seems to be a throwback from November 2020. The clip is a vlog of Jenny and Sumit looking happier than ever, wearing masks, and walking down streets with buffalos for company. However, the next few photos show 90 Day Fiancé couple having a meal at an Indian restaurant, Sumit posing with his food, and Jenny showing off a pretty diamond ring.
“Oh my goodness WOW look at the ring. That man has great taste!!!” wrote a fan on the 90 Day Fiancé star’s post, and someone else told Jenny that the happiness she’s getting in India is making her look 30. “You fought hard for your love!,” “Lovely ring! Finally had ring ceremony? Congrats!!” read more comments, but a couple of TLC viewers asked Jenny if she was now married. Jenny confirmed that Sumit is now her fiancé, by replying to a fan’s question, “Is that a wedding ring on ur finger?” with “engagement” but did reveal that she doesn’t see his parents “often.”
With Sumit and Jenny finally getting engaged, news of marriage might not be too far away. After all, before Jenny and Sumit got tested positive for COVID-19, the 90 Day Fiancé cast members revealed they would be getting married as soon as the pandemic ends. The couple’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way co-stars Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio were recently married, and Jenny and Sumit’s big day could be an occasion that fans soon get to celebrate.
