90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh have spilled some juicy secrets about their first date in 2013. The couple is currently starring in season 3 of the popular 90 Day Fiancé spin-off as Jenny deals with more excuses from Sumit, who’s scared of getting married. While Jenny’s visa may not allow her to stay in India further, Sumit will have to find out a way to console her and stop her from going back. However, with Sumit’s mother, Sahna, also moving into their house, Jenny’s problems are not going to get fixed.

But it wasn’t always a chaotic relationship for Jenny and Sumit, who met about a decade ago on Facebook as he pretended to be Michael Jones. American grandmother Jenny was 53 at the time, and Sumit was 30 years younger, which didn’t stop them from dating long-distance. A few years later. Jenny found herself in India staying with Sumit at his parents’ house for four months and taking his virginity. Now with Sumit finally having divorced his first wife, Jenny is free to marry him. But in all fairness, fans want Jenny to break up with Sumit and come back to America as they think he might be having ulterior motives.

Still, in 2013 when Jenny visited India, Sumit wanted to treat his ladylove right and surprise her taking her to a place that looked “cool.” According to an interview with Us Weekly, Sumit and Jenny played a “couple game” during which the Indian man revealed that Jenny complaining was a big turnoff for him. “She has issues with everything,” added Sumit. Jenny accepted that she is a "complainer.” When the question was about where Sumit and Jenny went on their first date, the 90 Day Fiancé couple had a tough time remembering where went in 2013 but finally revealed it was a McDonald’s in a mall.

We just sat at a table, and he ordered me some food,” Jenny recalled and shared how it was chicken burgers since “we don’t eat meat here.” Along with French fries and Coke, Jenny and Sumit wanted to eat in peace, but a bunch of school kids came in and disturbed them. Former call center employee Sumit wanted Jenny to see “some nice place of India” and he thought that the mall was “one of the coolest things” at that time. Sumit shared that’s it’s not as cool anymore, but he did want to prove to Jenny that India is “also very cool.” The pair laughed and said that for Sumit, a mall and McDonald’s classified as “cool” in 2013.

With Jenny being frustrated with Sumit not being able to commit to her on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s most recent episode, fans are also pretty sure he’ll keep finding excuses. Sumit referring to his fiancé, Jenny, as his “friend” and “girlfriend,” and later making the Nepal plan when his passport has apparently been taken away by his ex-in-laws, has made Jenny livid. But what frustrates fans further is that while it’s clear Sumit and Jenny are madly in love with each other, this is perhaps yet another season where they don’t end up as husband and wife.
