The 90 Day Fiancé couple have a long and turbulent history together that involves catfishing, a secret marriage, financial trouble, and overbearing in-laws. However, Jenny and Sumit stuck it out through all the bumps in the road and got married on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.
Now, on Happily Ever After? season 7, Sumit and Jenny are navigating marriage together and appear to be doing well. There was a lot of drama with Sumit’s parents in the first few episodes, and his mother says he’s been disowned, but Sumit took everything in stride and now he and Jenny seem very happy on their honeymoon. However, there are recent indications that Jenny and Sumit may have split up. A 90 Day Fiancé fan reportedly spotted Jenny on a flight from New York City to Palm Springs. Jenny was seemingly returning to her home in California after filming the Tell All in NYC, but Sumit was not on the plane with her. Since then, Jenny has been seen around Palm Springs rocking a new hairstyle. Even on her solo Instagram account, Jenny recently shared videos of herself dancing with her daughter—still in Palm Springs. It’s incredibly odd to see Jenny in the U.S. without Sumit because even if she is just visiting family, Sumit could have gotten a travel visa to come with her. 90 Day Fiancé producers probably would have helped him attain one if there was any difficulty because they would want him on the Tell All stage with Jenny rather than attending via video. Even Jenny’s new hair could be a post-breakup makeover, and it’s enough to make fans wonder about her relationship status.
Jenny and Sumit are still sharing loving posts to their joint Instagram account, and Jenny still has references to Sumit in the bio of her solo account. However, this could be further TLC trickery and an attempt at misdirection. Because they are currently married on Happily Ever After?, it may be part of their contract to maintain the illusion of being together even if they have decided to break up. Many 90 Day Fiancé stars have done this. Most recently 90 Day Fiancé season 9 star Yve Arellano shared lots of romantic posts with her then-fiancé Mohamed Abdelhamed, despite the couple having significant trouble. TLC wants to make sure cast members’ storylines don’t leak, and one way to achieve that is to drop misleading information on social media.
Though there are ample signs to support the theory that Jenny and Sumit have split, nothing official has been announced. The couple may be acquiescing to TLC’s rules and are trying to hide their breakup, or Jenny could simply be visiting family in Palm Springs and intends to return to India. It’s also possible that Sumit acquired a spousal visa and is living in the U.S. with Jenny. But even though the couple discussed moving to America on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, it’s very unlikely that Sumit would agree to leave India. For now, the couple’s fans hope the breakup rumors are false, but many others anticipate divorce in Jenny and Sumit’s near futures.
