Popular 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Jenny Slatten has been called a hero for her act of kindness in India, where she has been staying with Sumit Singh. At 63, Jenny is in a romantic relationship with Sumit, who is 33 years old, after they met on Facebook nearly a decade ago. Since they first met in person in 2013, Sumit and Jenny have been struggling to get married but are facing multiple obstacles ranging from family pressure to COVID-19. Amidst 90 Day Fiancé fans thinking that it is Sumit who’s the biggest reason for their wedding not happening yet, Jenny, who might be joining ISKCON, is keeping busy by saving lives instead.

Jenny is all set to become a Hare Krishna devotee as a last resort to staying in India while they wait for Sumit’s parents to allow their marriage. With Jenny’s tourist visa making her go in and out of the country every six months and the pandemic causing their plan B Nepal borders to close, she was also suggested to give up her American citizenship. While fans still suspect that Sumit, who’s afraid of commitment, will never marry Jenny, it could be that she is still managing to stay in Noida by embracing ISKCON and spreading the name of Lord Krishna. Although how Jenny has managed to stick around in India is a mystery that 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way will hopefully solve, she’s already started doing good deeds.

The Palm Springs resident posted a series of photos on Facebook, which is earning her thoughts, prayers, and applause from TLC viewers. The photos showed stray dogs that Jenny had rescued and taken to a vet. “Saving this cutie from parvo puppy virus,” Jenny wrote in her caption. Sumit’s partner also added that there were two more puppies that she’s saved.

According to American Kennel Club, the highly contagious canine parvovirus causes parvo in puppies, and it spreads via direct contact with an infected dog or indirectly by contact with a contaminated object. The virus can spread every time the puppy sniffs, licks, or consumes infected feces, and indirect transmission may also happen when a person exposed to an infected dog touches the puppy. The most susceptible to parvo are puppies aged between six weeks to six months, which appears to be the ages of the little ones that Jenny has saved. However, there is no cure for the canine parvovirus as of yet.

The 90 Day Fiancé star was asked by her Facebook friends if they could send a donation to help with medical bills, but Jenny replied to them saying, “aww thank you so much 🙏🏻 we got it 😊” Fans appreciated Jenny for being the amazing person that she is. “Bless their hearts,” wrote a TLC viewer, and the fan hoped that the cuties could pull through after getting the required medical treatment. Still, this isn’t the first time that Jenny and Sumit have rescued stray puppies and adopted them as pets.

When a fan recalled that Jenny and Sumit had saved some dogs before this, the reality TV star replied, “yes this is the second set of puppies.” In May 2020, Sumit found an abandoned cat that had wandered into his home, and he decided to feed it while reminding his followers to love and care for helpless animals. And in June this year, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way celeb Sumit posted pictures of his animals, and Jenny revealed that their fur babies were called Spotty, Pepper, Dusky, and Tanner.
