Jenny Slatten celebrated one year of being married to 90 Day Fiancé husband Sumit Singh by posing in her stylish yellow outfit during her hillside getaway. Jenny, a 62-year-old from Palm Springs, was busy playing Facebook games when she received a friend request from a certain Michael Jones. Jenny became close to the man and even began an online relationship, only for him to tell her a year later that he was Sumit Singh from India. The call center employee catfished Jenny, but she continued dating him despite his lies. Jenny even visited Sumit in Delhi and stayed with him at his parents' house. However, Sumit's parents opposed the relationship and got him married off to a woman of their choice, which he again kept a secret from Jenny.
Jenny was in for a surprise when she was confronted by Sumit’s wife’s family upon relocating to India in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Sumit took a long time to divorce his wife, and it also cost him $20,000. Convinced that Sumit wasn’t scamming her, Jenny came back to India, but he didn’t want to marry Jenny without his parents’ blessings. Sumit’s mom refused to accept a woman older than her as a daughter-in-law, and she still had a soft spot for Sumit’s ex-wife, whom she treated like a daughter. Jenny bent over backward to impress Sadhna and Anil, as going back to America and coming back to India was proving to be a costly affair.
Sumit’s parents’ accepted Jenny. However, they never agreed to the couple getting married. They were only okay with Sumit and Jenny staying together. Their wedding was shown on TV in December 2021 but actually took place a year ago on August 17, 2021. On Facebook, Jenny shared a set of photos from a trip she took with Sumit to a beautiful resort in the hills to celebrate their anniversary.
Jenny decided to go for an all-yellow OOTD. She wore a kurta with thin straps to show off her toned shoulders and adorably posed with her dupatta for photos.
